Looks like someone has a hard time separating the character named Hulk Hogan Terry Bollea played on television from Terry Bollea himself as an actual person.

People root for players, not the person. Take Kobe, Roethlisberger, I mean you name it, the list goes on.

People cheer for athletes. They do not care who they are outside of a ring, basketball court, football field, etc.... They will never be friends with them, they'll never talk to them, they could also care less what they do in their daily lives.

For a few short hours on a Sunday, Monday, whatever day you choose, us average Joe's get to watch someone who is great at their respective sport. Outside of that, they can do whatever they want.

Root for the athlete and not the person. It's pretty simple.

Wrestling was such an integral part of my childhood, but it's odd that now I can barely remember any of the details of it. Always had Warrior and Macho above Hogan on my personal list even as a child, but he was part of the big 5. But he totally lost me when he went NWO and I was never a great 'technical wrestler.' The persona was larger than life those early years.



Quite a tumultuous family. I believe Nick's on his 3rd or 4th DUI now and that's after he already received a nepo pass for putting his friend in an eternal vegetable state with his street racing.

He was in one of the worst cities to come out to because of who he was openly supporting politically and that city being a major supporter of the other side there was no chance he was going to get cheered. The WWE should have never brought him out that night at that location. I think they go to almost any other city he gets cheered like he deserves.
