Now that trade deals are getting done GSE's should be next according to Bissett

No positions for me right now, have funds waiting, would like to go long with some SPY C's, however waiting for 6300/6200/6400. Not confident that pausing rates would drop the market, probably would just push it higher, rate cut would send it skyrocketing.

Have a bunch of alerts on individuals, but nothing hitting yet. Could have jumped on the LMT that was posted in the stock market thread, thought about it, one Call Leap, but just didn't. Had a huge drop from earnings, probably would have worked out. I'll watch to see where that stock goes in the next couple months to see how it would have played out.

If you want to try LMT wait for an actual support level - 400.89 or 394.50. Should get a good bounce in that area when it gets down there

Taking light position on this trade (one contract), but wanted to post since I subscribed to Tradytics to try some more in depth information to along with technical analysis. Not going to overthink things, but wanted to see options flow, gamma exposure, dark pools, etc.... in real time and couple that with the MA's and S/R.

Ticker - TEAM, Large Sweep Order for OTM Put (195 Strike), 7/25 expiry, bought at above ask (bearish entry), VOL of this strike greater than O/I. TEAM rejecting daily 50 EMA.

Yeah it was too rushed and immediate for me, not something I was watching prior to the post in the stock market thread, but worth remembering for future Scalps off bad earnings reports, won't work every time, and quite frankly may not get into that type of trading, probably just leave it.

SPX 6400 is the next major level, will trim there and at that point I will be out of 90% of my call leaps

Remaining 10% of position will be for a break above 6400 or break below 6300 and I will cut deep in profit

Still holding full equity positions as I got amazing fills back in April. Might start looking to sell CC's on some after FOMC if they cut rates and the market pumps

Next week is the main event

Close enough. Trimmed, remaining calls will be cut w/ a break below 6300 or held until next target > 6430

So market will keep pushing up, got it.

Looks like tomorrow Expiry has 636 and 639 as largest positive Gamma strikes so I would expect chop between those two areas. 630 and 650 have largest positive Gamma aggregate.

Possibly looking to enter one SPY Leap, going to wait until FOMC though, because if they don't cut rates I would expect some pull back, granted not much as the last FOMC didn't move much at all. Entry would be 630 (S/R at 627, Gamma level at 630, Dark pool money between 627 - 630 (using as support), going to watch daily 50 MA around time I enter as right now it's at 623 on SPY, going to see how that lines up with my entry position.

Any positive catalyst should break 6400 as long as it's in the area

If SPY can't break 637 tomorrow could chop between 634 and 637 (positive Gamma). If 637 breaks, could see 643, lots of negative Gamma.

Big day tomorrow, see if Powell stays stubborn and pauses or cuts. There's something else going on related to treasuries before 2pm that might move the market. Bessent has a very tough decision to make. T wants to stop issuing 10s and 30s, and Bessent needs to convince him otherwise

FNMA has earnings before the bell. Had a nice run up today so tomorrow should be interesting

In other words, if you're re poor and need money, you need to wait until the banks get theirs first

That last reporter almost made Powell answer something that'd trigger the algos to go nuts

Market is going to continue pricing in a possible rate cut(s). Staying long until next FOMC meeting unless I start to see reversal signals or charts start looking bearish

As of now, they're buying the dip that keeps on dipping

Pause rates?!?! What no way.

Looking for enter one Call Leap on SPY. One year out. Was going to wait for 630, but looking at 1-2 month out Gamma (610-625 plus lots of negative) and the MA's I am going to wait for a test of 620-625. Might see SPY push to 650 next two weeks though. If I miss trade, I miss trade. Don't think I would be looking for puts at 650, however could consider 650 Puts with an expected push down to 620-625, take profit and then enter leap calls.

Good plan, patience and not entering in between levels is key

I think we see 650 before 620 as of now minus any actual bad news
