Cards aren't really his thing, this entire collection was basically just dropped on him. I've recommended that he keep certain pieces just due to the player and rarity of the item (regional heroes). Other then that, our goal is to sell everything so that they can use the money for their first house.

I'm just thankful that he thought of me to help, going through all this is my version of heaven.

Seeing some super rare cards of my childhood heroes has been amazing.

How is a collection like this just dropped on someone? This is a collection of someone that either collected like a hoarder or was very active in the hobby like a card store owner or dealer.

Go back to like page 2/3 there's a picture of the apartment. Clearly a hoarder, they essentially became estranged from the family and just left everything to my buddy. He didn't know about any of the cards until he literally walked into the apartment.

Wow, that is a crazy story! I saw the pictures, but I thought that your friend was the hoarder for some reason and you were helping him move the cards! Your friend must be ecstatic after you told him he just received a gold mine.
