Whoah that's a great card. I'd be happy with this pull even't it didn't recoup the cost of the box. You did better than 90% of the rips, likely.

Agreed! If I can get in the ballpark of even i’m happy with the box. This was one of the better ones. Some crazy cat just bought my base Sasaki for $20 so probably going to do a little bit better than even here.

Might I further ask; did your order go from Processing to Completed on your Topps account, and/or....did you receive a email noting that it shipped?

Haven't seen anyone else acknowledge their notices as of yet, and I'm personally...."giddy with expectation"?

I honestly didn't even check Topps till you asked about it, still says "Processing" and didn't receive anything about it being shipped.

Kudos to Topps for adding legend autos to the jumbos and hobbies - they did actual collectors a solid on that (I personally hold most my good pulled hits regardless of specific players I PC). I was so jealous of seeing last years breaks pulling those sweet Griffey Jr’s out of delight only….

This is true - so what can I/we do to bring them down? Want me to stop buying - I have YEARS ago… prices have actually gone up since then. So, that doesn’t work.

Prices of cocaine have declined due to increasing supply and reduced demand over the last decade.

Just because someone else is an addict doesn’t mean you have to be.

Stop FOMOing products you find too expensive. There are healthier things to get addicted to.

Leave it for the degenerates.

Say No to drugs.

I think that would have already happened. The original people in this hobby are outnumbered by the new people that just don't care about losing money. Gamblers, rich people or whatever you want to call them. I actually think it's getting worse.

There is nothing you can do to affect the market price as an individual. You can choose to participate or not, but you are not going to affect anything independently.

But we'll see what happens once the economy starts to go south.

As I've pointed out on more than a few threads, no adult under 35 has experienced a true recession....the last one was in 2008/09, 17 years ago.

More than a few data points are starting to indicate weakness in the economy.....the percentage of people making the minimum payment on their CC's is at it's highest point since the 08/09 recession, as is the percentage of credit accounts that are more than 90-days overdue.

My boxes from Topps pre-order are scheduled for delivery tomorrow. I did not get the usual notice from Topps that they had been shipped.


Edit to add - I found out they were on the way Friday due to having fed-ex notification any time something enters their system to my address.
