It's been my favorite late night show to watch before bed for about 6 years now, baseball highlights without all the nonsense you get with SportsCenter. I might be the last person with cable watching the show but I thought it deserved a thread anyway.

I don't regularly watch these programs, but I too much prefer MLB Network's content over ESPN (same for the NHL Network).

No preference in host as I don't really watch enough, but shout out to Heidi Watney and Hazel Mae who both served time at NESN with the Red Sox (Mae also did some Bruins work as well).

Yeah I haven't watched SportsCenter in years now because of QP. Off season I just find something else to be on in the background. It just felt like at a certain point it was more commercials than content. About the time they started doing advertisements during SportsCenter but trying to hide what it really was as if it was a legitimate segment I checked out.

I used to watch Quick Pitch regularly -- now I tune in only occasionally.

Every couple of years they'll cycle in new hosts. Some of the previous hosts have moved onto other shows like Laura Garner and Siera Santos.

Obviously, the women chosen to host the shows are intended to be sexy, dressing up in tight dresses. This is a positive feature of the show.

I remember when the theme song was Joe Satriani's Crowd Chant -- it was a good choice.

I don't remember most of the old hosts because I only payed attention to the highlights, but I'd probably vote anyone besides Labar.she always does uncomfortable junior high-ish skits that very loosely tie into what going a theme. I only know who she is because of those weird skits. The baseball is enough, thanks.

Hazel does the Jays broadcasts for awhile now...her husband Kevin Barker,an ex Jay, has his own show with long time baseball reporter Jeff Blair.

A few weeks back they had a guy filling in, I don't remember his name but I definitely felt cheated.



Surprised Taylor McGregor has multiple votes. I've seen her fill in a few times, has she ever held the title of host or has she always been a fill in? She's one of those anomalies that's gotten much better looking as she's aged.
