This morning in the bathroom, I ask if we are riding to work together and she says nothing. As I'm pulling out of the garage, my phone rings and she asks why I'm not waiting for her.

I drove to work this morning and it was nothing but arguments for about half the ride about the oldest SD. How everyone of her family but my wife has abandoned her and won't help her. I told my wife that her sisters have lives and one of them has a kid with another on the way. No one wants to put their family in danger or deal with her drama. She needs 24/7 attention to keep her out of the drug/drunk/sex life while you do everything for her to live an adult life and no one is going to do that. I told her if she is going to waste her life and money doing that, than she should just fix up the MIL's house and the 3 of them live in it and she can focus her entire life on taking care of a 30 year old who doesn't want to help themselves and can't keep it together for more than 3 years at a time.

And again to add to the fact that no man can figure a woman out, after the arguments halfway through the drive ended, she started talking about normal stuff like the Savannah Bananas tickets and if we should just cancel the trip and about taking FT JR to see the Maple Leafs in November when they come to play the Caps. And now here at work, she is normal and fine as if nothing has happened.

I also told her that because of the oldest SD's history and life she leads, she was not welcome to sleep over ever unless I could get a gun. MY wife is very anti-gun.

My wife told me in the car that when she got home, FT JR didn't say a word to her. She asked what I told him. I told her we were watching TV during the argument and he saw all of the texts. He also took all of his electronics out of the guest room so the oldest SD wouldn't steal them. I told her that he saw that you are willing to break up our family with a divorce over the oldest SD sleeping over and how do you think he would take something like that? He also doesn't feel safe around her because of her past and the people she knows.

Wife and I got into a text argument all last night. Oldest SD showed up at the firehouse. My wife wanted to bring her home because she didn't want to take her all the way back to her Dad's. Of course I told her heck no. She then complained it would cost $22 for an uber. Told her that's nothing compared to the thousands she wasted on her. This kept going on for about an hour and a half. It turned into I don't care about her feelings. My response was considering someone outed her as a CI to the Southern MD drug dealers, she didn't care about putting her son in danger by having her at our house.

Argument kept going back and forth and of course since I was watching TV with our Son his nosey butt was reading everything. He told me he didn't want his older sister there either. Ended up with my wife saying she was not coming home, she wanted a divorce, etc. She claimed she was going to stay at her ex-husband's house which I did not take the bait and write back what I was going to.

Of course I heard her come back home around 10PM with no oldest SD even though she told me she was bringing her no matter what I said.

pretty sure all the hoses have to be thoroughly drained before they can be tucked in for the night

Based upon the stories told here, it seems that the tritties put the "fun" in dysfunction

No idea how Tritty (or really anyone) tolerates all of the dysfunction. Like how many times do you need to be burned before you tell someone eff all the way off?

It all comes down to money and who is going to pay. She has gone to 2 rehab facilities and remanded to a mental institute. The 1st rehab facility basically gave her 1 month which is all our insurance would pay for. The 2nd rehab facility, she declared bankruptcy to not have to pay that bill so I'm sure they aren't an option. The mental institute was a waste because she was not crazy schizophrenic like the other patients.

If she could get out of this area and get off social media, she might have a chance to escape the issues she's gotten into here. She has the mental capacity of a 16 year old which is why I told my wife unless you concentrate on her 24/7, nothing is going to change. She has no job, no car (she's wrecked every car she has every owned and one of my wife's), and when she does take medicine for her bipolarism, she stops taking it because she feels good. She has never hit rock bottom (not even in prison) because both her parents keep doing stuff for her and spending tons of money on her at 30 years old.

She has done nothing for this latest car accident. She's given my wife all of her passwords and my wife has been the one to get the police report, registration, change of address as her DMV records still show our old house (which she never lived at), etc. She asked her Dad if she could go out to Detroit with him where his latest job is and he told her no. At least he didn't kick her out of his house.

And my Son told me last night that he has been in the car with my wife when she has asked for money and she gives her up to $200 at a time and then tells him "not to tell Dad." The money part was a big part of the argument last night too. I'm expected to go get a loan to pay for the new fence, the roof deductible, replace the flooring in the basement from the flooding, have the propane tank relocated due to the solar panel box, and the re-paving of our driveway because she can't pay anything because all of her extra money is given to her daughter.
