How was Jordan's second season? Oh that's right. He was injured too. It's a too early to make any conclusions on Caitlin especially since she's been hurt all year and playing through injuries.

Paige is better defender than Caitlin was last year, but offensively Caitlin was on another level. Paige has a more efficient mid-range game, but Clark had a better 3 pt%, FT%, averaged more points, rebounds and significantly more assists. Clark was responsible for larger part of Indiana's overall offense last season than what Paige is currently providing for Dallas. Caitlin also had the triple doubles and 19 assist game too.

The most assists Paige has had in a game this season is 10 assists. She's done that once. Last season Caitlin had 10 or more assists 13 times.

Paige will likely never come close to Caitlin in any passing statistic.

Paige is having a great year, but I'm still taking Caitlin's rookie year over Paige.

You all should go check out the WNBA Cards on reddit. It's literally 90% Caitlin posts.

I know it's the BO way to dump on players you aren't invested in but it would take a massive regression or injury to knock her off the pedestal as the face of the WNBA. She really only has to stay relevant and already has a title to her name with a CC win this year even if she wasn't in the final.

Isn’t there both regression and injury this season? The regression is partially due to her injuries. Hopefully her injuries heal sooner than later because she makes this league more interesting.

If she stays healthy, it doesn’t matter if Paige or Aja or JuJu outplay her, and she is going to remain the face of the league for the next decade. The question is whether collectors are fickle and continue to pay crazy prices if she is popular but has no titles and is not in the MVP conversation.

It has been confirmed CC won''t be in the All-Star game. I'm not surprised at all, I'll be surprised if she's not out for at least 2 weeks again.

I think the ratings will be big, but not nearly as big as it would have been with CC in it, especially with the game in Indiana.

2 weeks would have her back for the Wings re-match and missing games against the Liberty, Aces, Sky and Mercury.
Without CC they probably beat the Sky and maybe the Aces but will almost certainly lose to the Liberty and Mercury.

I really don't have any feelings either way for CC or her in comparison to Paige. I will say that I have zero regrets flipping all my WNBA Prizm boxes for a health profit last month.

Don’t worry about it, the hardcores and stat watchers don’t realize it’s the casual fans that really move the needle. All the hockey guys are down on Connor Bedard but don’t realize casuals don’t even know the name of this years #1 and everyone still gets insanely excited to pull Bedard. Can even look at everyone on here hyping Flagg when casuals know Wemby and you aren’t gonna see any insane price hikes on products as you did his year.

It takes about 3-4 years possibly more unless you’re complete garbage for people to give up/move on (look at Zion) on here people think it is 3-4 months though lol
