I’ll have to check if it’s 4/ but thank goodness it wasn’t bought from you. I believe, don’t know for sure, that the owner of ALT platform bought it from you. I picked it up about 4 months ago off eBay (ALTxyz was seller) for a major discount from its last sale & half the price of what I got the PSA 10 for. I’d happily take the other at 8 at that price too.

But shortly after the ALT vs PWCC lawsuit came out, so it seems ALT was doing a fire sale of some sorts to scrape up some funds for that battle. Good news for me, I guess.

2013 Topps Archives Box Bottom



Only 24 graded to date. Snagged most of them. With the price of unopened soaring thru the moon, being a condition sensitive & easily scratched, box-bottom, I don’t see the POP report exploding anytime soon. Seemed like a solid move, I guess. Grew up an 80’s kid, so those image variations on empty boxes were fun freebies back in the day.

Great stuff!! 2015 chrome is such an awful release design wise but the blues are actually quite nice. The black and reds are also really nice. Unfortunately the golds are meh and the base refractors are extremely underwhelming. They are really hard to differentiate from the base version which should never ever happen with a TC release! I’ve completed the refractor set for every TC set from 09 until 14. I have had a hard time to bring myself to finish the 15 set because it’s so boring so I’ve pivoted to the blue. Just so much nice to look at!

I’m sure you have some already and if you do I’d love to see scan but 2018 panini legacy premiums are beautiful! I had a ruby Brady but ended up selling it. She he blues and golds are fricking gorgeous in that set as well! They pop!!!

That’s a hellavu feat on the refractor run. And as far as everything else ya said, I agree 100%. As far as the blues go, a solid portion of folks still question the “color match” thing. Conversely, it’s funny how people always naturally gravitate towards their teams colors. Naturally a Raven / Vikings fan will subconsciously want that purple refractor vs say a “green” Packers refractor.

One of the critical attributes to the blues is that most Topps years, the blues are limited to /199. And then when Prizm took over, they made the blues retail SSPs. So when it comes to Brady and any other team (Bills, Giants, etc) there’s only 2000+/- examples total, all years combined, to go around.

And now Brady’s retired, no more playing day cards, folks have already completed the basic refractor run. Now they are gravitating towards the team color refractor runs. It’s only natural, bc like you stated, they are so much more eye-appealing, really pop w team unis & are just overall aesthetically superior. Couple that with them being extremely limited in terms of not just Brady, but those other Blue teams too, the color match refractors have certainly become a challenge to procure.

2011 Topps Super Bowl; Wrapper Redemption

Been working on compiling a base list (excluding patch/autos) of Brady cards featuring the classic throwback uni. This is a super tough one. Don’t let the 8.5 grade fool you. It’s the highest graded copy with only 2 others graded to date. Raw examples rarely surface & none currently listed. There is an 8 listed, but not mine. Hope he gets his asking price though.

Next time you’re box hunting & run across one, pull it! Solid looking card too, imo.

2016 Honors Platinum Blue

If I’m being honest, I think the 9 was a gift from SGC to whomever subbed it. Most likely a 6 or 7 if I cracked out or tried crossing. Being a dark 1/1 and SGC switching from green bordered flips to black flips, the SGC slab only instigates the OCD when I see it boxed with all its PSA red-headed cousins.

Okay, having watched that whole video I would conclude it's absolute cap. Not to be negative, but to over analyze...

I'm not a "boomer" or "zoomer", in between, but obviously there's a ton of card youtubers (particularly younger but all) who make fake videos with fake deals and buys. To me this is obviously fake. It doesn't really matter but since I spent 10-15 minutes watching it:

A. This kid looks like he's in his parent's house, yet he had 70k to drop on a Brady collection. He also insinuates or directly says he blindly bought it or didn't know fully what was in it.

B. He gets to the Pacific Prism and says "I've never seen this one before". And gets to the Black Diamond UD and says "this is one of the easier ones to get". Yeah...right, so dropping 70k on something you have no knowledge about essentially. Right.

C. Amazing collection. Worth watching so thanks for posting for the cards, it's just likely his dad's collection and he's trying to build a youtube channel.

D. On top of it all, I don't even think that collection is worth 70k.

Appreciate it Pitts! Not necessarily a Pats fan either. Just a Brady fan finally. Grew up in GA and after that ATL sorcery, I was convinced. If ya can’t beat’em, join him. Then he went to Tampa Bay, grandpas team, and I was all on board.

Considering Brady pretty much pissed off 90% of NFL fans for 7 seasons, at least, I think the tide will swing after a few years. My dad wasn’t a Yankees fan, but he is now prideful as hell talking about all those ass-whooping the Dodgers got. And now he is proud he got to see them. Same goes w Jordan and all the teams/HOFs he denied of rings. In the end, I think Brady will be one in the same now that those beatings have ceased.

Disclaimer: I did not watch. 15 mins is a lot. And I kinda gauge my willingness on whether or not to watch based on the home video image.

With that being said, I agree on all things ya stated above, Tea. I do respect any kids lemonade stand side hustle, but a lot of stuff these days on Insta is seemingly faked and or staged.

I am adamant against “driving under the influence”. And just as adamant about “buying under the influence”. Especially when we are talking $70k triggers.

I think it was Ray Charles that said “Don’t believe everything you see on Insta”, right?

I have a couple! Wasn’t done buying just yet, which is why I hadn’t posted, but pics don’t really do the Mosaic SG’s just as they are in hand.

Note on buying: just be careful on print lines. Easily overlooked w the mosaic design. A good amount carry them and sellers generally try to hide them w certain tilts or angles.

That’s pretty solid for the ‘05. I think a lot of folks underestimate the toughness PSA assigns to thicker stock cards & the exquisite brand in general. 7s are basically 8s, 8s are basically 9s, etc. Casual collectors look at the 7 on the flip and go “Ehh a 7? I’ll wait”, which could come back to haunt them a-la-Jordan exquisites.
