Yes very similar pull rate to pulling a Gold Star from the EX stuff - except there are 32 different possible gold stars LOL So if perfectly collated you would only need to open about 240ish ETBs to get a master set. Don't know if you would get all the Master Balls though...

I was able to as well, as I kept trying for my kid..only got 2 boxes, but hoping target doesn't cancel them

They will have new products releasing throughout the year up to September, so there will definitely be opportunity to buy at MSRP.

I was able to get some pre-orders in but couldn't find anything in stores. It seems like my local Targets put out products ahead of Friday's release.

I did also get two Pokemon Center ETBs. We opened one, and the hits were terrible. The promo cards themselves made it worth it. For now, I'm saving the other one. Supposedly Pokemon Center will do another drop sometime in the future.

I preorded a bunch of stuff at retail price from various places like Target, Wal Mart, Gamestop and more. I plan on ripping about half of what I bought and keeping the rest as in investment long term. I'm not into flipping. I've been ripping packs with my kids this weekend and had insane luck so far.
My daughter pulled a demigod pack today with the Umbreon, Sylveon, and Janine's Secret Art Special Illustration Rares all in one pack.
A lot of other crazy hits too.

It's surprisingly difficult to hit on these. I took a bunch of Ls this AM too (and sacrificed 30-45 minutes of sleep).

Congratulations on securing some from the last restock, I expect it to continue to get harder to hit for subsequent restocks.

Hope you pull some nice cards! I've been amassing (not too much since they're bulky) a variety of modern Pokemon sealed products for my kids as I expect them to develop interest in collecting such cards in the future.

Pokemon has stated they will continue to print more of Prismatic. I hope people don't get FOMO and spend $100 on ETB's. Hit rates are tough, but it makes the SIR's have a lot more value. I read somewhere SIR's were 1:45 packs, essentially 1 per 5 ETB's.

Also glad seeing videos of kids/collectors pull the God Packs instead of these idiots that raid their stores for this. I hope all the scalpers get bent after flexing their pallets of ETB's and now going to lose money because of the continued printing

They also announced a reprint of Terastal Festival, the Japanese counter part. I hope its a big reprint so I can grab a few more cases to the collection. So glad I got 2 at $1150 each for pre-sale.

So it has been 6 months since these hit. I of course got none and was not chasing.

However, ETB still selling for $100 plus I just found out my Costco will have and ETB + Booster box for sale. Supposedly on order but no ETA to the store.

Do all Costcos have limits on these or does it vary from store to store?

Just to clarify, it's an ETB + booster bundle.

I haven't gone for any at my local Costcos, but from what I've heard, there's been limits (e.g., limits were 2 for the 151 Blooming Waters boxes and the 151 mini tin sets). But I also heard some people double/triple dipping (going back into line and getting more).

As the days pass, the "restocks" get more popular and lines form before the Costco opens. Good Costco locations distribute "tickets" to allocate the boxes so it's no longer a mad rush/fight.
