Would love to have done some of my usual stuff this year, but just haven't had the time unfortunately. Always fun to read these types of things!

Reminder that the trade deadline is 7/14

Interested in adding some pieces of a playoff push. Couple of my keepers flopped this year so don't have a ton of great pieces, but will list a couple late rounders. And of course reach out if you have interest in anyone else

Edward Cabrera - 15
David Peterson - 18
Dylan Crews - 19
Merrill Kelly - 19

Also have Strider (9) and Tucker (12), but don't feel incentivized to move them

I am looking to deal for a SP

Available with good keeper values for next year

Nolan Arenado R7
Julio Rodriguez R7
Dylan Cease R12
Bubba Chandler R17
Cristian Javier R22
Joe Musgrove R23

^Regarding, Javier (returning august) and Musgrove (Spring training), both have top 3 round talent and were previously drafted that high. The same scenario worked out well for me with Robbie Ray and Degrom last year.

Hate to be that guy, but tell me again why our deadline is 1pm in the afternoon. Was trying to pull off a last minute deal and obviously we all have lives. May seem petty, but man seems off.

Now that the trade deadline has passed, I wanted to propose a few changes for next year before I forget.

Rule Changes:
- Move the trade deadline to the last day of the all-star break at 8pm

Scoring Changes
- Increase QS from 4 to 5 (inverse of a loss) [or add a win as 1)
- Decrease S from 5 to 4
- Increase cycle from 5 to 15
- Relief win +2

I don't have an option to edit trade deadline times. ESPN gives me a dropdown of different dates, all of which have the same time.

I don't like changing scoring often but we can look at it in the offseason. But even minor changes like this will impact the overall shakeout drastically

There has to be a better way than 1pm EDT. Since the time can't be changed then I propose we set our own time/date and the ESPN date would be set a day after our own time/date with the understanding that a trade after our own set time would be null and void.

I for one enjoy trying to get last minute deals done and the current way really cuts into that.

Respectfully Chris, you are always working up until the last minute I frankly do not want to have to process a bunch of trades by hand anymore as ESPN already makes me do enough manually. The deadline has to be somewhere so my strong opinion is to leave it and live with it
