Default Topps products

Guys, i just started collecting again in 23. I loved the donruss stuff and would love topps to lease it for football although i know it wont happen. What brands of topps are going to be the brands that will be in most demand? Most of the stuff looks like hot garbage.

Hard to tell you what product will be in demand when zero products have been out with the license to see what takes. We don't even know what products they will have. Other than mostly likely bringing back the "topps" line, it's a question mark. The stuff released this year might not be back. You have at least this last season to enjoy the sticker dump fest of panini.

Anyone who started collecting 2016-present only knows Panini. I am ecstatic for Topps to be back.

Topps Flagship and Topps Chrome are what I am most excited for. However, a lot like your comment about hot garbage, I can confirm that modern-day Topps Finest is NOT what it used to be. Finest used to be amazing from a design and quality standpoint.

I can't find myself getting excited for unproven (and ugly) brands like Resurgence or Midnights.

Hope Topps incorporates Heritage, Allen & Ginter, and especially Stadium Club to NFL. That would be awesome.

Luckily for me, Brady has retired. The sheer number of “new” Topps cards that eerily look like older versions just reaffirms “playing day cards only” for me. I started collecting in ‘86 so the multi brands of cards thing was always the norm. I like a lot of the non-rookie panini, leaf, topps, etopps, fleer stuff. But as for classic Topps brands, I’ve always had a special place for Topps Finest stuff. They always seem simple but solidly consistent year after year.

Welcome to the collecting bug. Just remember to collect what you like & you’ll never go wrong!

Will it come out two years after the rookie year too. When does Flawless drop for 2024 class?

I’d bet Heritage will certainly be on the calendar, SC too. Also, I’m sure Five Star and Triple Threads will be back. Plus bowman, Bowman chrome, and Best.

Topps pristine and the sneaky cool Topps Magic, could probably make comebacks too.
