Ah, I see what you mean, sorry, thought you meant sending in cards in card savers. Yeah, those graded card sleeves are similar to penny sleeves on raw cards which are also free to remove.

Anyone else having issues with packages being received by COMC? I sent in two boxes of about 500 cards each a month ago, no problem.

Sent in 4 more boxes 2 weeks ago, they all get to Redmond, WA and show "Out for Delivery" then sit on "Alert! Waiting on Delivery". Some have had that status for over a week - are they not receiving their mail?

Most likely just a mis-scan by the USPS, and the packages are actually already delivered to COMC.

I had that happen before during Covid and the package was never updated as "delivered" by the USPS but was marked as received by COMC eventually.

COMC has been taking around 5 or more business days to log in new submissions.

The site is ridiculously unusable for me again. Took 90 seconds to record one price update, half of my searches return no results when there should be dozens, and the entire site has crashed on me twice.

I love the idea of having this service, but someone who has a clue needs to buy it at this point.

It’s been horrible for the past 3–4 weeks. It seems like the site runs smoothly from around 8–10 AM, then it goes to #@#@#@#@. I’ve also noticed that once you hit the error page, the site runs a little better for awhile. Fun times for a serial page refresher.

Trying to buy my usual 3-5000 cards a week has been very challenging lately. Site keeps crashing when putting in my search parameters. COMC is costing you guys a lot of money right now and they don’t give a damn apparently. I doubt I will hit 1800 this week. Lowest total in over 6 months.

For the last day, I've been getting a lot of pages with no results (searches, ports, categories) and have to keep hitting reloading to get pages with results.

My biggest complaint is the "Updating..." stalls when trying to price cards. It feels like it is taking 10X longer to price cards. Plus, it is really annoying to reposition the mouse cursor and retype the price dozens of times per 100 cards.

Has anybody not been given their store credit for auctions ending on a certain day recently? I currently have auctions that are staggered for the past week and though the next few days. All have been closed out and credit received, up to and including last night except for all auctions that ended on June 25th. I know they need to be paid for first, but is seems weird that for one day, unrelated items would have none paid for by now.

That sounds about right. It probably takes about the same amount of time to scan 1 slab as it does 9 standard cards. I'd guess the slabs are given priority, as well. I wonder how many slabs will be submitted to the promotion. I'd expect a ton of low-grade slabs/lower-value slabs.

Yeah, the slab promo has no bearing on the website function. If I had to guess, it's more about people having thousands of marvel/epack cards that they transferred over after UD lost the Marvel license and most people gave up on ePack for now. I know I transferred over like 10,000 myself and still have 4000 to price.

Anyone know a search trick for searching double word terms? For instance, I want red refractors of Red Sox, or green prizms of Green Bay Packers.

does comc still put toploaders on expensive cards sometimes without requesting it? Been awhile since I shipped home and noticed I had some (lower end) ohtani RCs in there still

may be worth paying the dumb fee anyway though...

They package about 20 cards in a team bag and usually put a card in the front in a toploader as well as a card in the back. So yes. It's a crapshoot which ones they put in the toploaders though.

thanks, I may take a risk and hope they choose the right ones. Discovered I have a few Witt RCs i got for cheap a few years ago too

Usually 3 to 4 business days.

I request a PayPal cash-out every Monday and it is deposited into PayPal on that Thursday or Friday.
