Celebrations is one of the few recent sets that has had some staying power in the PSA 10 realm. Interesting, since I regularly find raw on the cheap. Yes, PSA is once again slabbing the metal cards.

Next year is 30th...will that bump 25th any? Had some sealed UPC and ETBs from PC sitting in a closet. Some PSA 10s seem to be doing well still?

Word is that there are alot of buyouts going on right now with Celebrations so I would say they will get a big 30th anniversary bump.

30th will be extremely popular and it will be printed to the moon. Yes, it will bump 25th.

Agree. Singles from that series are also finally starting to dry up. I still find some Classic Collection PSA worthy raw from time to time but it's no longer an every show occurrence, especially with most dealers seemingly focused on the latest products.

Have you guys seen what PSA 10 Celebrations Greninja and Umbreon are doing on ebay? Especially the Greninja, getting $1k plus in some instances. Something feels off, like there is some market manipulation. But good grief. Even singles new in the wrapper are going for $40+. I am sitting on like 10 of these brand new. I may send them all to PSA. LOL.

Yes, very hard, but not impossible. LOL. I sent five into PSA a bit ago and one got a 10, three got a 9, and one 8. Now I am kicking myself for selling that 10. And only for like $140.

But agree, with all the hard to see scratches on that card, 10's are definitely hard to get. But if PSA 9 are even pulling $100, may be worth the gamble.

That sucks to hear because I'm pretty sure I have the greninja promo but at the moment am not sure where it is...

I have 1 umbreon set to go out in my next batch of cards for psa grading with gamestop... only thing scaring me on the umbreon is centering... the centering isn't horrible but if anything keeps it from a 10 it will be centering everything else is perfect...

In general I had horrible luck on centering with my celebrations pulls... I don't know if I just had bad luck or what but I pulled a bunch of horribly centered cards out of celebrations..

I had over 100 of these and sold off a little over 30 at card shows @ $15 each several months back. I also sent in 15 to PSA prior to that and they all came back 9s and 8s. These are VERY tough to Gem. I still have 62 sealed and 3 unsealed. Not sure if/when I’ll go through the other ones and try my luck. I also have 10 sealed ETBs that I will probably keep that way for another 5 years and then reassess.

I have access to about 500 of the Celebrations Dark Sylveon V and Charizard V tins. I've been buying them and moving them but it might be time to just start putting them back in a closet and forget about them!

Yikes I sent in 11 that are currently grading. Good chance not one gems.
