Lifelong braves fan here, over the last few years the Angels become my favorite al team just hoping yall can pull it together for Mike before he retires. Oh and Cmo yall will love that kid hes a great player.

Neto has killed it. Schanuel is…well he is getting on base I guess. Adell…who thought the Angels are getting anything from him….17 homeruns at almost the half way mark and on the cusp of an .800 ops on the season! Trout mashes and gets on base still. O’Hoppe was all star level before this recent slump. There’s some hope with the younger players. .500 at the break would be a true victory for the Angels.

Angels going to do what they always do.... win 6 in a row right before the trade deadline, think they have a chance, trade Caden Dana and Ethan Holliday (or whoever they draft at #2) for Justin Verlander who will promptly retire and then lose 12 in a row.

Jammed his shoulder. Hope that isn't one of the injuries where the player gets back n the lineup and doesn't play well.

I made this call last year and was woefully wrong but the progression is continuing. That bases loaded walk vs Scherzer after falling behind 1-2 is a great example.
Leading the team in OPS, up to fifth in the lineup and the K rate is markedly improved too.

They're similar to the Marlins. It feels like they should be way under .500, but they're still in the hunt. The Angels are still within striking distance of that last wild card spot.

team has been overperforming its underlying metrics. Probably end up with low 70s wins. We will get the sub .500 for a decade trophy but we are still the only team that hasnt had a 100 loss season.

And we swept the Dodgers for the season.
