Hobbys ebb and flow, as do different markets in business. Right now, people are lining up to throw money at them. The smart business move is to print as much as they physically can. That seems to be what they are doing. I recently saw some Topps executives scouting the local middle school track team. I think they are getting a sapphire release soon.

Eh, unless you are a player collector and like to do verticals of specific releases.

My Bobby Junior sets are full of holes and it looks like it is only going to get worse.

No, they can't -- they have too many licenses now. They are taking on a lot -- NBA, NFL, Marvel/Disney, WWE, tennis, etc.

Baseball is taking a back seat out of necessity -- Topps doesn't have the capacity to produce all these products.

By you people I’m assuming you are referring to someone else. I literally said oh well. As in it doesn’t matter. I don’t complain about things I can’t control. And things I can control I do. Complaining never accomplishes anything other than to annoy the people you are doing it to.

My guess is they have to keep pushing it waiting for autographs to get signed and back in since they are on card. I noticed the Topps Chrome Black release has much more redemptions than usual. Dynasty full of redemptions would horrendous since its only 1 card.

Yea this is probably the best explanation I’ve heard. If they are missing a high % of the autos still, they are screwed.

Really hoping this is the case. Been saving up for the product and as you say, would be a huge letdown if it was chock full of redemptions.

Dynasty and Bowman are probably Topps' most important baseball products -- they'll at least make a strong effort for those products.

What happened to Royalty Basketball? Preorder was in the beginning of April with a claimed ship date of early May. Crickets.

They sent an email that it was delayed and offered refunds

I really miss getting the releases for the next 6 months and being able to pre order that much ahead as well. Then possibly getting product from the dist a day or 2 ahead of release day....good ole days
