Hi all,

We’ve debated whether to even continue this thread, and to be honest, it’s been disheartening. It’s become clear that many of you have strong opinions about us, and that’s fine. But the level of hostility, especially before we’ve had the chance to engage or answer a single question, has been surprising.

We knew an AMA could go sideways. But we did it anyway because we wanted to have a real conversation and share what we’ve built, and why we believe it’s worth your attention. We’re just normal people, like you. We love this hobby. We’re building something we truly believe in.

Here’s what we don’t understand: nearly everyone agrees the current grading system is broken. So why does trying something new automatically make us the enemy?

If you read our original post, we weren’t asking for much, just a sliver of openness. Our prices are lower than a fast-food meal. We use code, not magic. AI or not, it’s all code, like the traffic lights, your bank, or the phone in your pocket.

If this isn’t your thing, that’s okay. But if you truly want change in this space, support someone. Otherwise, the system you complain about will never evolve.

We’ll probably share more on our website about how it all started and how we got to where we are at today. Blowout has clearly been a learning experience, and while we hoped for a more civil exchange, we still appreciate those who engaged in good faith.

We’re still here. And we’re still listening.

Don’t waste our time by trying to appeal to our emotions and make us feel bad for doubting you. Prove you are who you are claiming to be by doing what you came here to do. You started and AMA thread and haven’t answered a single question. Instead, you’re trying to make us feel bad for what exactly? Not being open to your business idea? News flash, we’re not blind lemmings ready to jump off a cliff for you and you’re not a knight in shining armor here to save us from grading purgatory. As of now, you look like a Mickey mouse operation who has bitten off more than they can chew.

I can't say that I've seen any openly hostile posts here, just questions on things that... well, to be honest, you could have answered instead of playing the "we're disappointed in the response" card. And some people thinking you might be trying to scam people (which, be honest, if you saw someone in the IT space approaching their product this way, you'd be concerned about that as well). People here are jaded, because every company in the collectible card market is geared towards milking the market dry, and they refuse to be transparent about what they're doing. And there are scams with fake autos, jersey pieces, autographs, grades, and even Chinese knockoffs. The card companies are in on it (Topps and Panini specifically, who have ruined everything about the collecting scene since.... well, the 90s). Beckett, which used to be the de facto place to go for card news and pricing. The current grading companies that are inconsistent, and are more worried about the return on investment they are getting, or are completely devoid of any business ethics (Beckett again).

Words aren't going to get people to trust you in this space, too many people have been burned by company promises that turn out to be misleading to flat out false. Three colloquialisms come to mind here:
"The proof is in the pudding"
"Actions speak louder than words"
"Talk is cheap"

In this current world of gaslighters and con men, which is so common even members of both parties in Congress are both, and the most powerful man in the world currently is both, show us what you can do and minimize the chatter. Show us why your process is better. Show us how you are prepared to take on the big money investors that run the other companies. At the point you're at now, you won't find a lot of people receptive to your product, which still seems conceptual. Trying to play on people's emotions won't work, you've not gained any traction for that. Get your product polished, working, and able to produce good results. You don't even need investment for that to have that, just build your proof of concept (there are rumors you work for large IT firms, you should be very aware of that concept, I would expect). Remember, "failing to plan is planning to fail" - you have a massive opportunity here, and nothing you've done so far has shown you've done very much planning at all.

Now, don't take this as being hostile. I know plenty of people here would LOVE to see a consistent grading experience by a grading company that helps improve the industry. It's just an honest perspective from someone who would be one you'd want to convince of your product's potential.

You keep posting and keep not answering any questions. You are doing this by design. Just answer any of the questions and talk to use like real people. You are spending DAYS doing this behavior. Just tell us who the F you are and answer questions, talk to us like normal human beings. Do it withyour next post or I'm going to assume you are liars and scammers.

My wife and I own and run our own separate businesses (100% of our income) and either of us have NEVER talked to customers like you. We talk to people like real people talk to people.
