This is my area some of my favorites
Not in any Order
1995 zenith z-team
1993 stadium club 1st day issue ( not popular but very tough to find back in 1993 for your favorite player)
1998 Leaf Crusade
1993 sp all star cards cheap and look awesome
Any year team pinnacle
Early playoff quads
Action packed warp speed (cheap but look awesome)
1996 leaf gold all stars
1997 certified gold team

I was a fan of the shiny Stadium Club and Fleer Ultra inserts:





What made these cards great in my eyes as a young collector is that people you knew actually had them. I didn't see or have PMGs or rare Credentials. But it was fun to trade for or try to pull cards like this.

Maybe that's why stuff like Kabooms and Downtowns are so popular these days.

There are too many to chose from. But I believe that Playoff had the best over all lineup of base and inserts across the nineties. With that said I am a sucker for Pacific’s Pro Bowl Die-Cuts starting in 95. They were a tough case hit and extremely condition sensitive.

Begs the question if parallels are an “insert”, I suppose. If so, 1996 Select Certified mirrors have always been my all-time fav. Jim signed the rainbow for me in November.




If not, the ‘95 Excalibur tear drops are my fav…terrible pic but if you know, you know…

I’ve always liked the 1996 SP Explosive insert set. I feel like they are underrated.
