There have been lots of good young players who have had one good season only to then regress into fairly mundane players.

Most young players never meet up to those expectations, but the ones that do you miss out on by thinking that you’ll buy in when his prices drop. In some cases, you never buy in then you realize you’ve missed the boat. That’s the challenge of timing your purchases and market psychology - you’ve had years to buy judge and Ohtani, why did you never do it?

Folks may be asking that same question about PCA a few years from now.

The nice thing about PCA is his defense will always give him a nice floor WAR wise, it's just a matter of coming through on offense

If he can heat back up I don't think a 40/40 season is out of the realm of possibility this year

Maybe some other teams can learn from what the Cubs did with PCA. Let him play, let him struggle some. You might just get a nice reward after that.

That’s what’s amazing about the other big prospect threads, cags/anthony, the haters love to come out in droves to point out that in 15 games they have X batting average. Will they recover, maybe maybe not. But it’s called small sample size for a reason.

His early Bowman stuff is all Mets unis anyway, who wants that stuff. That is a great collection. Low key puts a Super just mixed right in like nothing.

I think they shrink it down to fit within the design for the regular cards and then just expand it to fit on the card with true photo variations but im not sure about past years

Just looked at another from last year, and they did the same thing. Zoomed in slightly from the base pic. 2025, at least the Mookie, they kept the same size/crop.
