I only watched a couple innings tonight. Didn't see his wife. This is his third game in the show. I watched his first game up and listened to Joel interview her. It sounded like the family made a difficult commute to attend the series.

It was a beautiful day for baseball. A little over 80 and light winds and not a lot of humidity. Ended up 1-0 with Wacha throwing 6.1 innings of no-hit ball. Skubal was tough. It was a surprise to me that he didn’t come out for the 8th. The K is as great a place for baseball as ever. If they move downtown or to Kansas it won’t ever be the same.

Getting to see Moose and a few of the old gang was fun.

Hate to say it but I don't think Jac is ready yet. Also Maikel Garcia continues to stay hot. Bobby has cooled down a bit need to get him going again.

I think Jac looks fine. He’s not striking out and doesn’t look overmatched at all. And frankly, even if he hit .225 the rest of the way, it’d be no different than what we had out there before him.

Vinnie has been hot too. But yeah, our offense begins and ends with Bobby Baseball.

Seeing him play every day, his hard hit balls are right at people. He looks comfortable and is hitting the ball hard for the most part. Very easily could have 6 to 10 more hits at this point.

It's been rough to watch lately. And while I think Cags will be good somewhere down the road, it's not his time yet. I think we need to be sellers at the deadline, not going anywhere this year. Massey should be back soon. I think Rave, Loftin, Cags need to go back down to Omaha.

I think we’ll more likely stand pat at the deadline. We have no real movable assets aside from Lugo. Who would want anyone else?

It is interesting to note that although Maikel Garcia is having his best year in the MLB, the common theme one hears regarding the Royals is what is expressed in this comment, "the offense begins and ends with Bobby Witt Jr" Bobby Witt Jr is an exceptional player there is no doubt however Maikel Garcia has contributed in an equal measure this year.

Q bungled it again. He keeps taking our starters out early, taxing the bullpen, and bringing in our worst relievers in high leverage situations. He is maddening.
