Sad but not shocked. You have to be a team player in a team game. Not letting front office off the hook -- Breslow is an idiot. But Devers had to go. The pitching will make Boston better -- they already have plenty of left handed bats.

Love your dedication awz50. You are the master of the this thread, but this is ridiculous.


Devers was the home run leader and arguably the anchor of the team. Traded for players who haven't done anything as of yet and unproven prospects.


And don't get me started about his salary. The last i knew, this is the Red Sox, not the Pirates or the A's. Management is swimming in money. They can afford multiple players with mega contracts.

They were finally starting to play better and get a little momentum going. Then what do they do? Trade one of the better left handed power hitters in baseball.
