Fanatics Fest Topps Exclusive F1 Set

A friend had free VIP tickets and invited me to go on Friday. I was wondering if a box of this event exclusive set was worth the cost - thoughts?

Boxes of 2025 Topps F1 FFNYC will cost $300 at the event and contain seven cards each — five base cards and two parallels. Cards will feature a Fanatics Fest NYC logo with NYC-themed parallels including Statue of Liberty, Orange Pizza Slice, Taxi Cab Yellow and Big Apple Red.

According to Topps, all 20 F1 drivers will appear in the set, including a subset for the six rookies. Driver autographs also will be included.

I imagine collectors that are unable to attend would probably pay a premium for it. Imagine there won’t be too much printed

Hard to fully gauge without a checklist, but Kimi Antonelli and Verstappen being included will make it worth the price.

I am going against the consensus here.

I don't don't think these event cards hold value long term. I never cared for them.

Will the autos be on card or on sticker? That matters.

I assume the autos are not guaranteed per box.

More than likely sticker. Agreed that it's definitely way overpriced. Not even close to F1 lights out which was also exclusive (to London store) in terms of value.
