I really think Edmonton needed that game, Florida is just a strong team while outside of McDavid and Draisaitil the Oilers are very underwhelming, and you can't those 2 guys to carry the team every game, and the Oilers goalie is fragile I can see him going into his stink mode after giving up that OT goal

Really crappy 2nd period by the Oilers after a period where they had the Panthers on the ropes.

I feel like I barely heard McDavid or Draisaitl's names after the 1st period and they really needed to step up in OT to win that game.

F Marchand as well, f'ing rat for semi-cherry picking on both his goals, but it is what it is, it worked both times... But f him anyway...

Edmonton in 6 (please hockey gods)

Oilers really needed a 2-0 cushion. Feeling uneasy about them now

Get Skinner out for the rest of the series. Play Nurse like 3 minutes per game.

I'm hoping that the Oilers play better Thursday night. I want this series 2-2.

I'm all for pulling Skinner at this point and going with the back-up.

The team needs a change, a shot in the arm, that might do it.

This aged like fine wine.

It's the same old problems for Edmonton. You cant give up 4+ goals a game and expect to win. Realistically with Skinner you're praying they only allow 3 and that they can get 4 or 5 with their offensive firepower.

I'm not a Skinner guy but hanging that on him is tough. The Verhaege, Reinhart, and Bennett goals were all unreal goals that not many goalies stop.

The Oilers stunk. Too many penalties. If they have another bad one tomorrow then start the narratives.

Fully transparency, I am not a fan of Skinner's and I also wouldn't hang the whole thing on him, but definitely a decent majority...

And I think the team needs a jolt at this point to wake up and stay in the series...
Can't sit McDavid, can't sit Draisaitl... A goalie change is the only real option you have at this point...

No idea what Skinner was doing on that first goal, but you need your Stanley Cup Final goaltender not to do swan dives like that. In fairness, only two of the five goals Skinner gave up were his fault. Skinner was always going to be a question mark with his goaltending, so I think the Oilers would be okay going with Pickard. It worked for them earlier in the playoffs.

If the Oilers don't win tonight it looks like a bridge too far for me in terms of winning the cup this season.

Oilers look horrible in the 1st period. Questionable moves in not dressing Klingberg & Arvidsson. It will take a herculean effort to prevent the US Stanley Cup streak from continuing.

Looking grim for the Oilers. It's been a disaster from the OT loss on.

Talk about turning it around between periods, we've got a game!

Tonight's game has gone from a blowout to another close one headed to OT!

I’d lean towards Oil in OT although it’s probably 55-45, if Florida wins though it’s over
