Boomers v millennials would be the highlight of the show.

But I have no problem with vintage Non Sports. Remember at times some of the old Non Sports sets cross over into sports ( Topps Look N See ). Would you say only the Babe Ruth should be sold? Would a complete set be ok since it has a Ruth?

Would you really ban Sets & Unopened 1977 Star Wars?

I dont think a small amount of older Non Sports at the National or any large show is going to detract from the sports.

As for Poke & that stuff GTFO! LOL
At this point, 95% of my collection is vintage non sports.

National has more than just about every other show and it’s still a very small amount

Even if it's 70/30 Sports vs. TCG that is still a massive amount of TCG for a show the size of The National.

Love to see all the people that scoffed at Pokemon 6-8 months ago saying it was a fad start to panic that their precious Sports Card show is going to get invaded but men with Pikachu fanny packs.

Yeah, but does Cobb have a special attack, especially on a sunny day?

Stop perpetuating this myth. I am so tired of this.

We have zero evidence to suggest that Cobb was a racist. He was a Southerner, born in Georgia in 1886, and it has become easy to equate that upbringing to a racist bent. But Cobb's great-grandfather preached against slavery. His father was an advocate for the public education of black Americans. And Cobb himself was a vocal supporter of integration in baseball when asked about Jackie Robinson in 1952.

Many a gems around here. A number of people don’t realize that the land that they are on is contaminated and therefore have false value. Is there a group of people harboring those who allowed the area to be contaminated ? Please refer to Evil Face YouTube and then check why Ramona & Pershing elementary were shut down at the same time, bussing, sure, sounds good to most, but why bus lower income to Ramona past 4 E- schools that were much closer?

The location of the pond had a fence roughly 6 feet high that deer would constantly jump over be built up to at least 7 feet high. Why keep the deer and everything else out unless something was dumped into that pond ? Who else is affected by that pond water leaking into old pipes ? I would ponder to say somebody had some serious bread to keep the bussing as a relevant reason for closing both elementary schools down. Let’s just hope that other people with power who “hypothetically” are concerned about safety would drink from the same faucet or putting their hands their hands into these same chemicals as they wish on workers or residents.

As far as the last show from yesterday, the number of dealers and tables are significantly growing. A few years ago the shows were done in a hotel with half the number of tables / dealers. I’m seeing more PokeMon dealers but it’s about a quarter of the show with about 20% of the tables. Most shows I attend have even a fewer percentage for PM than the last one, but it’s more than what was attended a few years ago.

Are you going Erin Brockovich on us?

I’m glad you found a refractor you were looking for at the show.

I’m fearful of not taking advantage of the swoon (fear), so I should spend more money now.

You see the irony here?

Positive for nandrolone.

I think we've come to the point where if he thought he'd done something wrong he would have admitted it. His apology did not provide that. You can tell he wanted to skewer the testing system but he probably couldn't for whatever reason.

Knowledge and awareness of what?

Remember - this is someone who did (maybe does) not believe that the Skenes first patch was pulled because he was not provided the exact name and address of the business where it was pulled.

So - he doesn’t believe anything unless all such details are provided. With that in mind - he didn’t provide the details of the names involved, the addresses involved, etc.

He is a conspiracy theorist - plain and simple. I think you know this.

Toxic environmental waste happens.

It’s harmless to get a reminder every now and then.

In this particular thread? Maybe out of topic.

Then again, nothing else has been.
