Nothing.

Let's just fly by everyone's estimated finishing dates and you'll just have to like it.

Seriously... any other company, any other industry, and the company would be toast.
They are likely in the midst of a TCG backlog that is going to grow due to Destined Rivals release. OSA might be aunt 6 month turn around soon, but people, because of ROI, will keep sending stuff. If you can get stuff back quicker from other and sell a card for say $100 or wait 4-6 months to get the same card back and sell for $100 the other company is better for roi because the money is in hand.

Historically, an hour to several days with most on the quicker side but can't speak on what's happening this month.

The recent price increase might at least slow the rate of increase. I'm somewhat shocked people are finding potential 10s from any S&V era stuff. Production quality is far inferior to previous generations to the point I barely even look at new stuff when I see it at shops and shows.

There are a lot of things that PSA does that I don't agree with, but the BIGGEST thing they do that I disagree with is that they don't start the clock until your order hits Research & ID. You have my cards right now, the clock should start now. 65 business days will now turn into 75 to 90 business days. Either change things to accurately show how long you'll have my order, or actually stick to the date.

SV 1-4 especially and why getting a 10 is so tough. The pop count for early SV era will always be low.

I've found the more recent SV era set production quality to be worse, with Journey Together being the absolute worst. The early SV stuff suffered from bad centering. The more recent stuff has a combo of cards with bad centering and almost every card having whitening on the corners on the back. Based on my own small sample size, Destined seems not as bad from a whitening on the back perspective compared to Journey.

I really wish they’d just put the backlog on TCG and make sure everything else gets out in a timely fashion. One specific category shouldn’t hold up the entire company.

It really should be Santa Ana does sports cards and NJ does TCG, shoot, throw in the Florida location too.

Problem is that one category makes up 2/3 of their volume the past two months. TCG is an easier grade than sports for them. PSA wants to milk that cow as much as possible before it goes dry.

This may be a dumb question, but does TCG only go to NJ or do they do CA too?

43/51 gem. One I knew was not gem. The only bummer is the very best card landed a 9.

A few from XY Evolutions, a few from Hidden Fates, one from Surging Sparks that gemmed, and the rest from Sword & Shield era. I don't buy as much Pokémon these days still especially pay attention to the 2016-2023 (Crown Zenith only for 2023) sets when I bump into Pokémon at shops and shows. It's hard to find gems from anything before or after those years.

Got an up charge for a PSA 9

At least there’s clarity.

Has anyone re-subbed a number card to PSA? Would really love a PSA 10 for my PC

I have many times, but most of the time they stay the same grade, have never had one pop lower, had about 30% pop higher.

My recent submission got lost in the mail and was finally found two weeks later. I'm afraid someone opened it and took its contents. Once they open the package and it hits R&ID, should I be in the clear?

Closing in on 9 weeks for the first stage of assembly. My hope is it means upcharge but I doubt it. I had to reach out to PSA to try to get an explanation. Also a few days past the estimated completion date, that's not what I am concerned about though. Just no idea why any order would be in assembly for that long.

I've had this happen before to me too but the package was never opened. I am assuming if there are any missing cards PSA will notify you about it once it hits R&ID but that could be at least a month+ off depending what service level you used.

This really shouldn't happen, IMO, and it makes me think that someone had it in their queue, and it was pushed aside for a higher priority sub, then got buried in other orders that piled up while that other one was being worked on and they never got a chance to catch up enough to get to it again. They seem to have a process that works just good enough to work for like 75% of their orders, but for the times things interrupt the process they just don't have enough internal tracking. Even if an upcharge were warranted, wouldn't R&ID be the step to find comps for different levels of grades for the card so that when it gets completed in Assembly the only thing they have to do is use the value they already found for the grade it ended up being? If it's a super common card to grade that sells often, the pricing should be easy to find (they have the ability to do it within their own apps), the only time it should be a little tougher should be if there aren't any comps to compare. Heck, I bet they could use AI to calculate value for them which would speed it up even more, as they wouldn't have to have any human intervention at that point.

Thanks - I did Value Plus, so I should have an idea in the upcoming few days.
