Default Scandal: Rashad Aldridge of Legends Only Sports Cards & Collectibles

https://www.sportscollectorsdaily.co...a-rookie-card/

I've never heard of Rashad Aldridge before. Have any of you guys ever dealt with him? I've also never heard of Legends Only Sports Cards & Collectibles -- is this a well-known card shop in San Antonio? What a horrible situation.

Sports cards, Pokemon cards, NFT, sneakers, Rolex watches, grading cards, Instagram - this guy checks all the boxes. The motivational speaking takes it to next level.

Unrepentant scum bag. Still legends.

No doubt, this guy will eventually become a pastor and scam his way to millions.

I don't understand how this guy isn't in jail. According to the last few paragraphs of the article this is like the 5th different time in the last 5 years that this guy has been taken to court for scamming someone out of 6 figures+. How does that not eventually result in criminal charges?

Why do you think scammers keep scamming?

Well, if there is no police report filed for any of the cases, then.....

Probably because they think the next scam will be the one they finally get away with. I guess it's a nice added bonus that even if you keep getting caught over and over again the absolute worst thing that can happen is you have to give the stolen money back with no further punishment.

The YouTube video said they found lawsuits in several states against him. I wonder how many more victims are out there.

"According to court documents, Aldridge sold the watches for $65,000 to a man named Evan Carter. "

Wait, not THAT Evan Carter??

Regards to the scumbag scammer, he really was able to rope a dope for a long time. The victim kept getting blinded by the allure of getting that Wemby card. But I mean FFS, pulling a 4/5 Wemby rookie, but that's not enough??? Yeesh.

Social media outlets need to pick this story up. This is one of those cases where the more you dig the more you find. This guy has been scamming people for a long time.

I wonder how much this guy’s personal credit card bill is?

Sounds like he hates paying off debts!

If anyone wants to bid on the seized assets, it appears the store inventory will be auctioned off later this month.

Will we hear from any of these hobby companies that were/are allegedly partners?

I am loving the recent 'nothing to see here' post on Legends Only IG account:

"We want to sincerely thank everyone who has reached out with support, encouragement, and positivity during the recent events. Your messages have meant the world to us and reminded us exactly why we do what we do.

That said, we want to reassure all our customers that grading submissions and consignments are 100% safe and were not affected in any way.

We fully expect to be semi-operational by next Tuesday to handle all requests related to submissions and pre-existing orders.
To our community, please know this.. We’re not going anywhere.

We’re taking everything that’s happened as fuel to grow, improve our processes, and come back stronger than ever.
To those who experienced any inconvenience, we truly apologize and reaffirm our commitment to providing a safe, welcoming space for all collectors and hobbyists.

In the coming weeks, we’ll be sharing exciting updates about our brand and expansion and we can’t wait to show you what’s next.

Thank you for standing with us.

We are and always will be.."
