$175 - $200k seems very conservative, maybe net/cash if all sold together right now. Lots of very desirable cards in that Sleeper lot & all PSA 10's except for the two 9.5 Optic Autos which both have clean, bold on-card "Patel Mel" 10 autos!

Could probably fetch closer to the $220 - $250k range if broken up & auctioned off individually at the start of the season or if sold during playoff time.

You have a better beat on the market than I do. I was doing a very very non-scientific assessment based on values that I know about a year ago lol. I trust your assessment completely.

I sold soooo many of his autos and only have one left.
I remember buying the Optic Green /5 on here for $500. I told a guy about it on ebay shortly afterwards and he offered me 2k for it. I said that was too much and sold it to him for $1800...

I bought a Yamal auto last year for a couple of hundred bucks and was shocked to see the rise in the card! At the time i was looking at buying a bunch but only got one. Should have pulled the trigger

Need some opinions guys. I have these two optic cards (blue and orange) and the front, corners, and edges are beautiful. The back has some very light scratches/roller marks.

I've finally decided to send them to PSA and I'm wondering whether I should put a min 8 on them or not. And if I did min8, and they didn't, should they get slabbed authentic? Opinions? (I don't remember how to post images)

If you believe they will grade lower than 8 just leave them raw. <<<This if you are planning on selling them.

If they are PC grade them. What will be will be.


If I’m buying a card and just see the authentic grade I automatically believe the card is a PSA 6 or below, and will bid/offer accordingly

Just looked at the pics. Those are nice print lines. You already sent them in so just have them grade them. What will be will be and at least you will know what you have. Then you trade the pair for one nice one.

Thanks for the thought. Yea these are PC for a while but at some point after he's retired and I am retired, I'll have to move on from them. Just want to "invest"" wisely given the cost to acquire and to grade (seems like $150/ea)
