HI all-
This may get closed or moved but thought would try.
I was an extra in Bull Durham-one of the little league money drop kids-and got to meet Costner a few years ago and had hm sign a Bulls jersey for me (on front by the Bulls logo). he also signed a ball but added the name of whatever baseball move that didn't do well by it.
I might be meeting Susan Sarandon this summer and able to get her signature. My first thought was having her sign the jersey too but then started to question myself on that. If it was signed on back and a specific Crash Davis jersey I definitely wouldn't. I'm leaning jersey but not 100% sure, what would you all do-the jersey or a different item (and if so, what?)?

First: Do some research online and find out whether she has a nice signature or not.

Second: is this a paid signing or are you just hoping she’ll take a second for a quick sig? That will impact how good the signature looks.

I would avoid having her sign the jersey. I would just find an officially licensed photo of her from Bull Durham and have her sign that. Maybe the sweet spot on a baseball if you collect signed baseballs.

Side note: Bull Durham is my all time favorite baseball movie.

Good luck!

Thanks, it is a paid signing. I haven't looked into her signature quality yet, but good advise. I do collect signed balls, wish Kevin hadn't added the movie title (I cant recall name, assume it was a flop) on the one he signed for me-my wife mentioned the name when we met hm and he added it after that.
My fav too. I was a kid when I was in it, I was in my 40s when I met Kevin and told him that, he didn't seem to appreciate it lol.

Photo, baseball or DVD case's paper would be my pick. I would not risk Costner items fearing a botched auto or lost item.

My youngest hit one of these and sold it for a nice amount.

I agree, no way would I have her sign the Costner jersey. Baseball is probably best and if you can get her to inscribe a quote from the movie, even better.
