The Lakers fell completely flat this playoffs, it's not fair to compare them to the other teams.

I think it's more than with the Celtics and Cavs decline this offseason, you got OKC and like 8 more teams that are around the same level. OKC just loves playing down to the competition, there's no reason the Denver series should have gone to Game 7.

Super Bowl LIX.

Except the Pacers were never Mahomes.

Seattle vs. Denver. Etc etc.

Defense wins championships.

#1 ranked defenses with front loaded offenses win barely watchable championships.

I think people want this to be competitive for the sake of personal enjoyment, but it won't be.

I've been hearing all postseason that OKC is just another contender, that the Lakers were gonna give them trouble, then the Wolves. I think people are way in too deep to back down now.

I’ve lost track of this thread

OKC is going to absolutely work Indiana. It will be embarrassing

I know Indiana beat my team. That’s fine

I’m still right and I don’t care about OKC at all

Haliban's 60 seconds of late game heroics have overshadowed the 75% of him being absentee this playoffs.

Minnesota was a horrible matchup for LA in the 1st round, but yes they did fall flat. LAL should have still won that series, and then they would have beat GS in the 2nd round, and we saw what LA did to OKC 2 weeks before the playoffs. Not saying they would have beat them, but they would have put up more of a fight than Minny against them.

I don't want to say that the Pacers setting up a classic comeback cause Nesmith looking like 60 percent. But if Walk can really step up and support Hali, and Math continues to grit it, let's see....

I almost feel like Indy just wanted to give all these guys run before OKC.

This definitely seems like a squad OKC should fear.

Nesmith has been owned this game.. Hali hasn't shown up.. Walker has 6 points and two turnovers in 10 minutes

But naturally you lead with your man crush..

Crazy that if NY hadn't historically blown game 1, they'd be going up 3-2 tonight. Been a fun series

Perhaps a bit premature to start forecasting Pacers Finals game totals.

Hali literally has a stat line that has never happened in the playoffs EVER... and then decides to not literally show up in the next game...

Couple that with Brunson absolutely 100% owning Nesmith we get a game 6...

If Brunson and Towns play like this Game 6, could see it go to Game 7. Love the effort tonight.

Indy absolutely better pray they get this next game. If not, I have full faith Knicks will be the 13th team in history to pull of a 3-1 comeback.

You get the feeling that the NBA decided this series would be better off if they played 7. The fact that Haliburton shot the ball only 7 times is probably the biggest indicator that this game was meant for the Knicks.

So weird that it's becoming common for teams' stars to have games like this. Makes sense in the regular season once in a while if they are trying something, but pretty inexcusable in the playoffs.

Hali has those games where he disappears. Nothing new. Nesmith and Turner had very forgettable games as well.

I got a game 6 to watch Saturday at least.
