The NBA powers that be have to be freaking out about the possibility of a OKC-Indiana Finals.....two of the smallest TV markets in the league and two teams with no nationwide fan base.

The NBA better figure out a way to push small market teams to the national audience. It’s going to be hard to push guys for face of the NBA that aren’t contending for a Championship.

If this Thunder nucleus stays together long or somehow manages to land another big fish to go along with SGA & co., they are going to be a TOUGH out.

Now, if they went after Giannis, pretty sure that would solve the viewing interest issue pretty organically.

People will watch if the games are good and exciting, last year was two major markets (Dallas and Boston) and the viewership was middling-to-down

Make the game fun and exciting and the viewership problem solves itself
