I dont think the public perception of SGA is really there yet

He's a technically amazing player but not a lot of aura/personality to speak of

SGA reminds me a lot of Dwyane Wade. Knows exactly where in the midrange he'd like to be, very difficult cover because he loves contact, no burning desire to live at the 3 point line.

I think part of it has to do with the fact that his rookies are in a clippers uniform

and panini forgot to give him a rc shield for prizm

That willingness to not settle for 3’s really accelerated his game I think.

As a Canadian, it's remarkable to see the level of talent we've produced lately. Really hope we can contend for an Olympic medal next time. Our guys really showed up during the finals. SGA, Dort, Nembhard, Mathurin.

Is the George/SGA trade the worst in pro sports history? I think there's a genuine argument for it

It's not the worst but if OKC wins more titles and SGA wins more MVPs and Jalen is a multi time all star it probably will be up there. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Scottie Pippen are a couple of the worst trades that come to mind.

I think it is refreshing to see someone without apparent vices represent the league. That said, I would be investing in JayDubstep only at the moment, with maybe the odd Chet, if thrown in.

The peak being a week prior to results and the dip infecting the summer has been drummed into me on multiple BO threads.

I think the SGA trade has surpassed the Pippen trade.

Pippen was traded pretty much for Polynice and BJ Armstrong. Paul George was traded for SGA, Jalen, Jaquez and who knows if the 2025 and 2026 picks become something.
