Did anyone care?

US wins it 1-0 in overtime, Canada was cocky and crashed out, Genoni is MVP after getting four shutouts during the Tourny.

Defender: Dean Kukan, Switzerland
Forward: David Pastrnak, Czechia
Forward: Elias Lindholm, Sweden
Forward: Nick Olesen, Denmark

Obviously it’s playoffs which take precedent but teams all still had some heavy hitters.

As a Sabres fan I'm happy for Thompson. Hopefully his performance gets him a spot on the Olympic team after missing out on the 4 nations.

It’s sad that it turned that way for Team Canada, they had a few legends on the team.

USA "D" team beats up Switzerland. Their goalie was really good i must say.

I've always wondered why Genoni didnt get a look over here in North America. Surely he could be a back up

as for Canada, still cant believe it. Was a really good team. Shame MAF couldnt go out with a medal. First time Crosby hasnt won a gold

Yeah Gemini does seem pretty legit compared to what we see sometimes from backups here

I would have cared if it was advertised better like the 4 nations faceoff. All I saw were a few snipets on various Kraken social media pages that Daccord, Beniers, Essyimont were on team USA.

4 Nations faceoff was advertised on every webpage/channel I watch and even had it's own cards on Epack.

Pretty awesome to finally win this. Long history of guys not going over for it. Hopefully it continues to change going forward
