Offense blew tonight. But I have to say that Yates and Scott have been disappointments. 5 losses in a row? Would’ve never predicted that for this team, even with the pitching woes.

Padres appear to be in freefall, losers of 7 in a row.
They still have the last wild card spot, though, which says how good they'd been doing.

LA is 1.5 back of Detroit and 1 behind the Phillies for best record, and just 1 game up on the Yankees, Cubs, and Mets. Plenty of good teams so far this year We hit the 1/3 way through-the-season point around Monday.

No matter what, the bullpen was terrific, except for in the 9th with a 3 run lead.
