I was worried at about his slow start. Just another instance of me being wrong. He's bascially turned himself into Rafael Devers with walks.

That said, I'm glad to be nearing the end of my stash of 2018 TC base and refractors and 2014 refractors. I'm just sick of base. Even when the market goes up and the player plays well, the bast goes down.

I'm pleased.

Couldn't stand Devers approach to giving up 3B to a clearly superior defender and than refusing to play 1B or 3B when they both got injured.

This team needed to clear some bats and I'm happy its the DH spot freed up for Yoshida or Anthony.

Devers contract is going to be putrid by the end for a guy who is a DH only.

Sad but not shocked. You have to be a team player in a team game. Not letting front office off the hook -- Breslow is an idiot. But Devers had to go. The pitching will make Boston better -- they already have plenty of left handed bats.

Actually think this somewhat redeems the front office. They made a mess and had to fix it. And did. Their future is with the kids.

Like the deal for SF, too.
