If it helps anyone get an idea of how things are moving:

I sat in green check assembly for about 10 days. 20 card 1980 Present value order. Got grades ready and QA around 10am last Friday the 16th. Status changed to "completing" and is still in that status. Has not shipped as of today the 20th.

Got the up-charge email today, they actually did miss one they could have tagged me more for so I'll take that as a small W.

Overall, can't complain on this one, pretty much all 80s/90 BKB with some tough cards in here:

The quality of cards from these new sets has to be some of the worst in years. 2024 Prizm and Optic football are so bad.

Wednesday will mark 8 weeks in assembly for a 47 card pre 1980 order with 9 different card sizes. I imagine everyday the assembly guys come in and say “nope, not today”.

My two card order at Value Plus jut had grades available early this morning, they had been on green check asm since 5/8 my eta finish date was yesterday 5/21 so very close. Seems from what I am reading in mist cases green check asms to QA Checks are taking about 10 days.

Yes, too much work for them. Ugh.

At this point really, with most everyone just sitting stagnant in the stages, PSA should just abolish the tracker system. It's that or they should go one step further and put notes in the stage on what the hold up is, even if it a general message (should be different for each issue). I can't imagine the stages help out the customer service team at all, even though they almost always send a canned response to the first message.

2 card Regular order has been in grading for a week now. Expected completion date is tomorrow. I've seen some others here with orders in grading for a long time. Seems like the one stage that wasn't taking long might be now..

I would imagine that most of the notes would end up being "sitting in a stack waiting for someone in the next area to get to it". My first sub went into Grading a month and 2 business days after going into R&ID. Second sub that arrived 2 weeks later is still in R&ID and it's been a month and 4 business days.... Just probably sitting in a stack, probably at the very bottom, waiting for a grader to get down that far...
