I always enjoyed the Proline products. Never hit a big name but was a fun chase in my teenage years

Pinnacle, brick city. Might throw most of the box away. Would have been a fun break otherwise. Super shiny cards in person.

Well, I don't think the photography was better, I think the editing was better. For some reason, instead of trying to get photos from distances that look like what we would see if we were standing there in real life, card companies think that they need to use the 300 megapixel cameras that capture every stitch at 100 yards and incorporate it into the image. Our eyes wouldn't see that, no matter how good your eyes are, so the pictures they use now are way too sharp in detail (even when scaled down to the size of a card) and the pictures look way too sharp and over saturated. While this makes amazing photos of things like landscapes, astronomical bodies, etc, having all of that extra detail in the photos make them look fake. So, a little less focus on the minute details would make it look far more realistic and "better" to our eyes

31 years ago...I know. I can't believe it either. It means we are old.

A Scoring Machine and a Living Legends in the same box - I think you really beat the odds on that box! Really big name players too.

Of course that would have been worth a lot more back in 1994. I really liked that Fleer set.

I'm super late to this party but wow: what an amazingly fun project and I know I speak for everyone when I say how grateful I am that you're sharing this with us in words, in pics (the packs, Kipper, everything!) and just the whole experience on such a wholesome level that takes us back to easier, more innocent days.

This - for nearly all of us - was before life got a lot harder and it represents that carefree time. I was in 8th and 9th grade in 1994 and remember many of these sets very well and had some of these cards too, as I was near the end of my temporary hiatus (because high school and girls and sports lol). But I am going straight to my LCS when I get back to town to see if he has anything left you need!

Thank you! I have struggled to track some stuff done. Please let me know if they have anything. That would be wonderful if they did.

Yeah, I was 13 in 1994. This has been fun and Kipper is having as much fun as I am with this.

Sportflics, this was a lot more fun than anticipated. The cards are in great shape, I got an artist proof. The base cards each have two images of the players.

Yeah, sportflix and similar cards were all the rage in the late 90s. I still like them, even though they're no longer a big thing.

And, some of those rookies LOL Heath Shuler, Sam Adams, LeShon Johnson. I had forgotten how terrible that 1994 draft was overall.
