Stickers on Gold Label…yuck. Topps really treats the UFC like red headed stepchildren.

Card looks horrible and stop with the rookie year crap. Just a cash grab.

Gotta agree with both lol I like Gold Label in baseball but stickers ruin it and it's stupid to make Kayla a rookie when I literally own cards of hers from PFL lol

Exactly... I assume Gold is a premium release? Showing a sticker auto kills it for me.

I’d probably put it in the mid high end category. You got one auto per box and they were always on card.

Nowadays it would prob be $400 a box but it wasn't really priced like a premium release but the auto felt like it as most if not all also came with a frame around the auto, not to mention on-card as Noles said.

Also had different "Classes" with different rarities ala Panini Select, it works for baseball but likely will be brutal for MMA when even some of the top guys aren't that valuable and worst-case Class 1-2 people are worthless scrubs.

It's honestly stupid as a UFC release, on-card would of made it more digestible but given what this will likely cost I'd rather something simple like Heritage you could drop a lot cheaper with one auto, won't say on-card like baseball but would still make more sense and could use some HOF/vets for the Heritage theme.

I remember it was roughly $80 a box in my LCS several years ago. It looks like you can find 2022 (the last year it was produced) boxes for roughly $150 online.

The real question is what other product that’s on hiatus will the UFC get next? High Tek? Strata? Supreme?

Yeah it was really affordable, wasn't priced like a premium release but given the on-card auto and how nice they were with the frames etc. I can only imagine if it was released this year with Ohtani, Skenes, Elly etc probably be $400 lol

I know youre joking but I could honestly see them doing a "Topps Fire" UFC set lmao

There's already been a Topps Fire set.

I believed we were talking about sets on-hiatus from baseball, such as Gold Label. At least that's what I assumed since Noles mentioned similar sets, Topps Fire is currently on-hiatus in baseball as is Gallery and a few others. I personally wasn't speaking on previous sets, just that it's something I could see them picking up from baseball's grave.

Sounds crazy, but perhaps they should have their own sets.. instead of trying to fit every sport on earth into the baseball templates!

Josh Emmett just posted on Instagram him signing Topps Finest and Topps Royalty which I don’t think I’ve ever heard of.
