Get rid of that ridiculous starting bid

At least have an offer setting, and set your limit for lowest you will accept

If you ever plan to sell it, now is the time. It will probably never be worth more than it is now, even if a few turn out to be hall of famers. But it would be a great item for your collection as well.

As for redeeming it, the actual card will likely sell for more than the redemption card. I have redeemed several cards from Topps in the last year or so. They have been lightning fast. Since these are all sticker autos, I can virtually guarantee they aren't waiting on someone to sign. They just didn't want to pack out the card and have it in hand already. You should get it within a week to two weeks at the most. Bowman will still be hot by then.

So I say redeeming it is the answer whether you sell it or keep it.

If you’re looking to sell, actually sell it. This current eBay listing you have is only hurting the card’s value.

I was taking a moon shot. If it doesn't sell by Saturday night I'm going to redeem it and then list it at $0.99 and let it ride to wherever the destination might be.

This is bad advice

I know people like to talk bad about redeeming cards, but this isn't Panini. And it isn't even Topps pre-Fanatics. Say what you want about Fanatics, but they have not only reduced the number of redemptions, but have made the process easy and fast. As someone who has redeemed lots of cards with Topps in both eras, I have plenty of experience. Redeeming a card before selling is now a viable option.

Can't they just email Topps and inquire as to whether the card is ready to ship or not? Tell them you pulled the redemption for it and want to know so you can proceed one way or the other.

A starting bid of $6000 isn't a moonshot, it just isn't happening. May as well switch it to a high BIN/BO and at least have a chance of selling it if you get an offer you like.

It sold for $4k. Maybe it would have gone higher if it wasn't a redemption, but I'm pretty happy with that.
