Going to 77 today.

Rain tonight and tomorrow, probably over an inch. Maybe some leftover showers Wednesday and Thursday. Rain again Friday and Saturday. At least they aren't calling for upper 80s this coming weekend now, like they were before.

Yes, she only went in the living room, kitchen, and dining room. Believe me, the middle SD was watching amongst others.

Chances of rain from today through Thursday with tomorrow being 80%. Hopefully no practice tomorrow so I can watch the last 3 episodes of Andor Season 2.

I noticed they changed Saturday's game from the other King George team to against the East Orange team down in Locust Grove and of course he has be to be there at 8:30AM.

Nice to come in today and find out my boss is on leave this week. But, she'll be in communication and reading e-mails.

They are 6 - 1 and scored 16 runs last game. I think you mean the other team could use it.

My son figured out that the new stance the coach has him doing is the same stance Rod Carew used.

He needs to try another stance

I think this one is perfect for him. The bat is already almost even with the hitting zone. When he does a normal stance, he tends to not swing evenly, but up or down. This also allows him to be quicker to the ball.

I’m just going to give her space and see what happens. Maybe she just needs some time to get things in her mind right. I knew something was really wrong when she didn’t want to ride together to the Fireflies game last weekend. She was going to drive herself before the storms happened. I’m still going to make sure her daughter’s lemonade stand is ready to go for stuff. Not fair to her to just disappear.

I’m going to talk to other people and keep living life. I’ve been talking to a woman from Clear Springs Maryland this weekend that I met on social media.
I know I'm late to the party but didn't you tell us you have been in a big funk recently? If so maybe she things YOU are rethinking the situation or that SHE is responsible for your funk.

Just a thought.

Sounds delicious.

We went to a winery yesterday for lunch that has phenomenal pizza (surprising, right?).

We got some filets from the local market and cooked those up last night. Perfection.

Mockingbirds have playlists worthy of Spotify!

I've counted over 20 tunes from one single bird this morning.

I really think she is scared of being in a relationship. I didn't hear from her all weekend, and this morning I text her something about an event her daughter is setting up the lemonade stand at and she just said sounds good.

I'm over it. I'll move on. I can't waste time trying with somebody that doesn't want me to.

You seem to really like her. MAKE SURE before you move on.

As an aside I have a friend who was in a similar situation as yours. His friend had a daughter that he totally bonded with, the friend didn't want to take it any further. It's 4 or so years later and he still takes the daughter out to Chuck E Cheese and movies and stuff.

Hope it works out for all of you

She's really changed how she is around me the last few weeks. I don't know if she didn't like something I said or did, but I don't know what to do if she won't tell me.

Stuff like this is why I don't even try. Nothing but issues

Not much to tell. I don't think I even spoke to her. She totally looked like she was on drugs. She had marks on her arms (and not just her Eczema which my wife tried to claim) and a burn mark on her stomach (she had a half top on like she was 15 ) which she claimed was from a hair dryer.

When she went outside to smoke, the middle SD called the youngest SD to talk about her.

BNut probably won't be happy about my company's latest directive to indirect employees (those not on government contracts such as HR, recruiters, our own IT people, etc.)

All indirect employees must take 19 days of leave this year although you aren't required to carry a negative leave balance if you have less earned. They must also take all 10 holidays (yes we get robbed of a holiday off).

And why? "taking steps to manage costs to protect the business."

Why not just fire half the staff, starting with the ones that surf the web during work
