Tom Brady Comp Search

I have a 2010 Donruss Elite on card Auto Die Cut numbered 7 / 10. (Photos attached).
It is card #59, and has an Aspirations label on the front.

I am trying to get any kind of comp on it, but have not had any luck in online searches. Had a card shop offer $200, which I thought was quite low, as the closest sales I found was a 2009 /88 non-auto, but in a psa 9 for $500. A 2011 die cut /88, non auto, not graded sold for $70. Several hard signed autos on cards are going for $200, but this is a numbered card and authenticated by panini autos which are averaging $2000 from the same timeframe in various sets.

Any addition insight or how you might comp this would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Great card; closest thing I could find is a 2010 Elite Emerald Mirror Signatures /5 PSA 8 that sold for $1400 back in November. I would probably list it for $1,999 obo.

do not sell that card to a card shop. $200 is a crazy low ball price.

I like the 2k obo. you mentioned it was on card? you could even do 2.5kobo. that would leave more room for negotiations.

If a card shop offered me $200 for a licensed Brady auto not only would I offer to buy all of their Brady autos for 250% higher than their offer but I also wouldn't find myself back in that shop ever again.

I once saw my card shop owner with a straight face offer a guy $750 store credit for a Sandy Koufax SGC graded 5-EX rookie.

I should point out that the LCS shelf price is already at 25 to 30% markup so in reality, it was much less than $750 store credit

Those are the types of card shops that try to buy a 1952 Topps Complete Set with an extra Mickey Mantle from a 90 year old widow who is trying to sell her husband's collection to pay bills and offer her $5000 with the excuse that they are taking all the risk because they aren't graded.

I think I see the one you're talking about from December 2024 and probably what the shop was hoping to convince you of. No shot a legitimate Tom Brady autograph is selling for $200.

I can't imagine the last time a pack issued Tom Brady autograph (single signed) sold for less than $1,000, 5 years ago? 10 years ago?

EDIT: finally found one and it's not even comparable to the one you have. 2 months ago a really faded/streaky Leaf Limited sold for $1,025.

As others have said, that shop is either extremely ignorant or extremely shady.

I have the same card #3/10 BGS 8.5 and I wouldn’t sell it for less than $3.5k. If you’re really looking to sell it maybe try offering on the forums here. Many people would be interested….including me. But being a new member you’d have to either send first (with someone with amazing feedback), find a mediary, or maybe meet in person. Either way, it’s a great card…I love my copy

An additional clarification for the OP. That isn't an on-card auto, it's a sticker auto. I can see the sticker in the picture. Mine is a sticker auto as well so at least it's consistent with other known examples
