Two great jersey/patch autos!

Imagine those early 2000s when some of the sets were /900 like that Kenyon and the autos are still elaborate and beautiful. I think there was a Parker/Ginobili dual /1600 from around that time and it's amazing how consistent their autos were.

Of course awesome Kobe. Loved those player box cards numbered to the jersey number.

Now that I think about it, he might be the most underrated player in NBA history. Almost certainly in NBA hobby history. Here are the other decade leaders:

1950s: Dolph Schayes
1960s: Wilt Chamberlain
1970s: Kareem Abdul-Jabbar
1980s: Alex English
1990s: Michael Jordan
2000s: Kobe Bryant
2010s: LeBron James
2020s: (Current) Stephen Curry

I think even Dolph gets more love than Alex. But the rest of those guys are hobby superstars.

You can get a nice Alex on-card auto for $5. Kinda crazy.

All beautiful cards, but the Crown Royale design will always have a special place in my heart.

Great card. Great player. Thank you for sharing.

^Not usually a fan of Mosaic, but I do like those Genesis parallels.

Picked this up at a show today:

The Genesis cards are sweet.

I'm loving the Dirk Autographics. Old school BGS label too.

Picked this up in a online trade raw. Look ok with a chance at a Gem so sent it in to PSA.

Curry Deca Dominance Gold #/10 PSA 10

Thanks, dawg.

To be honest though, I don't really have a preferred grading company at this point. Mainly just acquiring cards that I want without worrying about the grades/labels as much.

Picked up a D Wade rookie auto at a recent show:

Yeah, it is interesting.

He wasn't really flashy or a high flyer, and he wasn't known as a good defender. Also played for a small market team with minimal media exposure. And of course, his teams didn't have any deep playoff runs.

All that being said, I still think his game would've translated fairly well to today's NBA.

He was a pure scorer, absolutely underrated. It would be fun to see him in today's game.

Been focusing on adding some late 90’s - early 2000’s inserts to the collection recently.

I got the autos personally when the Nets played at Rutgers in the late 70s. The hotel where many of the visiting teams stayed was a 10-minute walk from my house.
