Apologies in advance for the rookie (and esoteric) questions:
- Outside of already being in the COMC ecosystem, how do you decide what to send in to COMC? Do you just blanket send anything worth more than a couple bucks in if its not in your PC? I realize this will vary from person to person, just curious how some think about this.
- Does every BIN automatically get cross-listed on ebay?
- Is there a clear way to see sales velocity? I'm looking at raw 2018 Topps Update US1 Ohtani (pitching, red jersey) for example - when I click on Sales Data, I don't see transactions and dates. The closest I can find is if I hover over the chart it says '51' for the most recent quarter but I believe that is for all condition types/versions, not just raw.

I had a good Spring Cleaning sale with 18 cards sold (about 25% of the cards left in my account) including two cards I've had listed since 2017.

Had a funny flip that leads to a question...I sold two cards to good ol' Raf_Raf on the last day of the sale. Raf_Raf relisted the cards for more than what my asking price has been since I listed the cards in late 2023. ohiomike than swooped in and flipped the cards from Raf-Raf! Cards were of a long retired player.

So my question...do cards reappear as "Recently Added" if another user flips them? I'm just a little surprised they sat there for so long without even an offer and then get flipped twice for more than my original asking price.

They do not go to recently relisted unless the flipper reprocessed them as elite, which normally takes a few days because of the need for re-scanning.

- Pretty much, I go down to about $1.50 and send in most anything that isn't PC. I sort through my stuff and give each a quick search on COMC. (a bit slow, but I'm in no hurry to get rid of everything, even if it takes a decade) If it's something that has no comps, I make a guess on if it's something that's going to have enough demand that it's worth sending in. If it's a 1990's common from some random base set, even if there's none listed it's not going to be sent in unless it's a superstar or I'm just testing the demand for the set.

- Almost, but not quite. I think in the past I've found about 80-90% of my stuff is cross-listed. From what I understand, that number is much less on non-sport cards, where only one of each type of card gets cross-listed.

- That's the best you're going to get is total sales by quarter. Unless you have history points, then they tell you the highest dollar sale and date of that sale I believe. Not worth the effort/money to get the history points, IMO.

Would they show under the new account as "recently acquired"? OhioMike probably scans RafRaf to see what he has picked up?

My best guess is that the second buyer had them on his Watch list and saw the price change.

The fine print said it would be available Monday May 2nd (which is not the right day of the week obviously), so I'm thinking that they had a typo, and it will actually be available on Monday the 5th of May.

Technically true. I probably shouldn´t have gone by the assumption that with most everything they do in that regard, it´s usually auto timed to 00:01 PDT on that date. Either way, it came and went.

Didn´t notice that at all, thanks. That makes "sense" now, I guess... Here´s hoping it´s not actually Monday June 2nd then.

Sounds like them You get it June 2nd and it expires on May 30th.

I have seen these types of "Typos" more than once from them.

Default All I want to do is talk about COMC

Getting ready for a massive backlog in comc shipping yet again once that rebate drops and everyone and their brother requests an economy shipment at the same time.

I requested a shipment this week and there was 635K cards in front, highest number I've seen so far.

Can someone explain why it costs more to pay for an ebay auction win using comc store credit? To take an example, I win an ebay auction, winning bid like $150 (auction says $5.99 shipping). Then when I go to comc to pay for it on there, the amount to transfer to purchase it is like $170. What’s the extra amount going to?

“Please note that your winning bid will be adjusted to account for the standard 10% cash-out fee. Example: If you win an item for $100, your COMC Store Credit payment would be $111.11. This is because $100 is 90% of $111.11. However, you will not need to pay sales tax or shipping because you are using COMC Store Credit. Additionally, won auction items do not qualify for flat-rate shipping and may have additional shipping charges of $0.25 or $1 per card.”

Either this^ - or if you want to avoid it, go to your auctions won tab and select autopay.
I didn´t quite understand what the benefit would be, at first but now started using it and it works. See bolded text below.

"NEW! AutoPay with COMC Store Credit

With AutoPay, we’ll automatically deduct your winning bid from your COMC store credit and transfer the item—for free.

In addition to the benefits you get for linking your COMC and eBay accounts, you also get:

No additional fees – Your winning bid is all you pay.
Instant transfers – As soon as the auction is over, we transfer the items you win to your account."

Thanks for the above responses. Really helped actually- I enabled autopay and just saved like $30 from two auctions I won. Not sure exactly why the 10% fee goes away with simply clicking that, kinda odd…but looks like it does.

It's a incentive to make sure the auctions get paid for.

Sheesh. Either psa not knowing what they are doing- I do question them with the min size thing. Or UD QC being terrible which is also a known issue with some newer sets.

The duration sounds about right. I finally did get my psa grading submissions which were due 2/28 back end of April. 2 months past due. PSA always seems backlogged

I don't know how it happened, but I requested an Economy Shipment Recently (~38 Cards):

Granted, they were all '73s but like 4 cards; still crazy
