I was at last night's game with some friends, we got like 6 dollar resale tickets and with such a small crowd, didn't feel bad about working our way to the lower bowl instead of the 300s where our tickets were. Gorgeous night for a game, best weather day of the year here so far. Super sad seeing such a sparse crowd. But that's what happens when ownership slaps you in the face

Game itself was fun though! I don't think we played particularly well to be honest, but 3 things that stuck with me:

1. Keashall is a really fun lightning rod. He was on base 3 times and swiped 2 bags last night, and now has a hit in each of his first few games. Hope he is able to stick around even once Royce and Wallner get back

2. Julien made the best defensive play I have ever seen from him. Right in front of me down the first baseline too, such a good play

3. Buxton's catch to end the game! He's learned how to reign it in defensively and let some balls drop when he maybe could get there, but clearly showing he still knows when he needs to go get it. Just a fantastic catch with the game on the line, so much fun

Well, the one good thing about this season so far is it should make it a lot cheaper for me to take my family to a game when we make the 10 hour drive next month.
