Default Pricing Pokemon Singles For A Show

I'm doing a card show in a couple of weeks and over the last year or so, I've ripped a lot of Pokemon with my daughter. She is take over one of my tables to try to move out some singles. I have a piled up a lot of unopened that I'm going to hopefully move as well.
My question is, what is a fair price to sell the holos and reverse holos?
We were thinking 50 cents for holo and 25 cents for reverse holo but want to be reasonable.
I had also seen a member here post about nobody taking base cards to shows so we are taking 1 or 2 3200 count boxes of base cards. We were thinking 5 cents each but that is probably a lofty goal even if there is anyone looking for them. In addition, I have maybe 1000 code cards and we were just going to sell those for a penny each.

Any opinions or comments are appreciated. While I'm learning, Pokemon is still a bit out of my area of expertise.

Thanks!

I sell Bulk Pokemon at the local shows along with sports. The best way to do this in my opinion and holds less space is. 1 3200 box for the Commons, etc. I would almost not bring the code cards, unless you have it to the side and sell the 1000 for $10 (so not to take space in the 3200 count box)

Then buy a binder the flexible gaming one, and place the Good Holo and reverse holo characters (older 151 characters) and just price them at a $1 or .50 and just do discounts if the buy a bunch. People love looking through binders and they can go through the binders (even cheap cards) fast just tell them you will give bulk discounts. Then it's easy to refill the binders every show. Not everyone uses TCG player, they just want their character.

I have 14 binders when I do a show, and I stack them on top (2/3 rows). I usually can move about $200-$350 between binders and 3200 box and the margins in those binders cover my cost of the 2 tables and more. (i do have cheaper pokemon vintage and japanese in those binders and cheaper holos)

Hope this helps.

Thank you for your response. Yes, that is a big help. I hadn't really thought about the binders but Poke peeps do live the binder life!

So as far as the base cards, would 5 cents each be reasonable or maybe 5 cents with a bulk discount?

Thanks!

Yeah, try it out at 5 cents, or just do bulk, It easier to sell to one or 2 people just to clear space (I would offer it up as a lot to anyone interested) . But really the more binders you can put out the easier and less messier it is to monitor.

I'd recommend doing a dime or 12/$1. Nickels just don't add up, plus, if someone only buys one and pays with a dime then they will get a Nickelback. And nobody wants Nickelback. It will cause people to scurry away with ear bleeds. People do buy holos and reverse holos to complete master sets. I'd probably ask for 50 cents or 3/$1. Best to sort them by set for those builders.

As a buyer, I prefer boxes to binders. Makes it easier to see both sides of the card but the above poster is correct, binders are magnets for other people.

Keep the more expensive cards in a case or toward the back of the table. This makes the slide trick theft a little more difficult. No big deal if someone slides a $2 card, but it stings when they slides $50 card.

Thanks for all the responses and suggestions... and the Nickleback reference. You are definitely a "Rockstar" in my books!

I won't have time to get binders for this show but may try it down the road.
Most of the higher end stuff...$100 or higher is sold out on Ebay. There are a few $20-$50 cards so might end up pulling those from the box and toss them in the display case just to be safe.

Not really sure what to expect for single sales but hoping for the best. Really hoping to move the unopened. I started buying specifically for this show about 3 months ago and have about $6k wrapped up in booster boxes, bundles, etb's, EX boxes, tins, etc. The good part is that a vast majority of it has gone up in price since I purchased it. Gives me a little wiggle room if needed.
