I'd gather you're far past your estimate then, right? Might be worth contacting customer service. seeing people have bulk subs already in grading that are further along than ones that were submitted 2-3 weeks earlier, they very easily may have misplaced it and have no alerts that tell them things are behind.

What is your estimated complete date? PSA won't do anything about your order until it is after the date as they will send a canned response that it is still within the time frame. I have an order that's been sitting in assembly check for nearly 3 weeks but it has an complete date of 5/15 so I don't expect any movement for quite some time.

Even if PSA sources domestically through "NEO" they might still be downstream from some China source.

Either way, it's cheap plastic. 200% or even 300% of not much still isn't much. If design/production changes are a concern, easy: don't change.

Maybe they need to change to be more efficient and keep high quality. Fine then, design and mfr locally. This should all be part of their business plan anyways if they are oriented at all towards growing their business.

So I've gathered that if you send in your bulk-tier submissions with one that has a higher priority, then your bulk will move faster? I've noticed this with several submissions in this thread. It would make sense, since they have to open them up.

It gets checked in faster, but all the other steps are still painfully slow as if you sent it by itself

This is spot on. They quite literally do not care about 'investigating' any submission that is still within the "estimated completion date" timeframe.

Once it's 5 business days past that estimated date then you can call/email and they will look into it. Which of course, buys them another...month, probably (lol).

Looking at the response that PSA support sent me via email on Monday when I asked about my order that's been stuck in R&ID for ~9 weeks now (since February 7)...it is very obvious that they 100% send out automated canned responses where the support rep only changes the name the response is addressed to and possibly the business day your order is sitting at relative to the service tier and everything else is from a template.

Looking at some of their job openings, either they are trying to expand quickly to deal with this new level of submissions or no one wants to work for them.

Can someone educate me on how the upcharge on grading for PSA works? I recently got my grades for my first bulk submission back. Two of the cards I received a 10 on have values above $300. Since the max insured value for the bulk order was $200 per day I thought I would get upcharged for these two cards but I didn’t. I’m definitely not complaining about paying less but just interested to know how it should work.

If you ever wonder why you get the grades you get...

PSA Grader

Hourly Range: The hourly range for this position is $20-$32. Entry level operations positions generally start at an hourly rate of $17. Actual compensation in this range will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, prior experience, and skill set.

$17 in California is basically minimum wage.

On March 31st, eBay introduced a brand new optional PSA post-sale grading service for trading cards. We are excited to let you know that your selling account now includes this option on select listings. This value-added service is offered for trading cards over $250 (which already qualify for eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee program) immediately post-sale. We’re thrilled to introduce this enhancement to deepen buyer confidence, boost your listings’ appeal, and continue growing the hobby we all love.

Why This Matters
By enabling buyers to purchase grading services from PSA directly on eBay, we are making grading trading cards easier than ever, eliminating multiple shipping steps and providing an exceptional customer experience.

What’s Changing For You?
absolutely Nothing!

List and ship your eligible trading cards as you always have - there are no extra costs or added steps on your end.

Seamless Post-Sale Grading

When a buyer opts for PSA grading, your card will first be verified through eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee verification. Once authenticated, it will be sent to PSA for grading - at no cost to you.

Final Sale Protection

Any card authenticated and graded by PSA is considered final sale and cannot be returned, giving you extra peace of mind.

Buyer Inquiries About Delivery

If buyers ask when they can expect their graded card, please direct them to PSA’s Help and Support for the most accurate timeline.
So, this is interesting
