I agree with him actually

not the personal attack but how is lebron "complete mishandling" bronnys career?

I think a few more years at usc and bronny would've been a second round pick regardless of lebron pulling strings

Like most things anyone can take anything and spin it to fit their narrative. Both LeBron and bronny wanted bronny in the nba. LeBron helped him and bronny was just good enough for a throw away pick. Bronny will develop better in the nba and g league then he would doing the college grind. LeBron and his wife have raised great children. To criticize him as a father is ignorant. Would it have been more professional to call out Stephen A in private, sure. But I have no problem with him doing it face to face like he did. It’s been great for ratings though and all the podcasts when the nba needed a little juice. Sometimes I wonder if this was all planned.

Well "supposedly"...Mr you coulda just called me, wasn't answering Lebrons/Rich Paul's calls

Lebron "getting his son drafted" is blown out of proportion just because it's a sports thing and the $$$ being made

How many people on a daily basis try and get their kids a job, or put in a word for them and try to get them a foot in the door somewhere...

And if you want to compare $$$ jobs..how many actors/actresses or musicians get jobs/into the business because of their parents and nobody bats an eye

Now, even as a father, could he have dialed back a bit on some of his tweets about Bronny and his ability? Probably.. but that's about the only thing to fault him for imo

Your bottom sentence is literally the main issue.

LeBron said Bronny was better than a bunch of guys in the League and on the Lakers.

Then when Bronny struggled Bron said "hey leave him alone"

It was really dumb to throw him.under the bus like that. Bron has a habit of saying stupid things though.

I don't know about this Bronny stuff, but I do know that my kids are smarter than your kids... so I can understand Lebron's perspective

Maybe Lebrons behavior as a father bothers you because youre a subpar one A parent would walk through hell and back for their children. Maybe you wouldnt and that is what grinds you deep down.
As a great father, I’d never put my kids in a situation like that with all that pressure. Publicly humiliated the kid.

He pumped the kid to the moon talking about how he’s good enough to be playing on an NBA team while he was riding the pine and scoring under two points per game at USC. He kept talking about him, and then got super pissy when anyone didn’t bow down and hype the kid too. That’s a sh!tty thing to do to a kid. It built animosity and put a world of pressure on the guy to perform. When he hasn’t performed, he’s publicly crucified.

Large difference between a regular Joe getting his kid a nine to five entry job that’s not all over television and publicized world wide for everyone to see. Bronny won’t be able to show his face, public or private, without people looking at him as an underperformed now.

Is he all over tv and pop culture the way LeBron and Bronny are? Because that’s the difference. LeBron is a golden example of “with great power comes great responsibility”.

Yeah, I’ve been thinking about this too. Even on BO, look how much traction it has gotten.

In the end, the LeBron haters will ridicule him for anything he does. He could donate 10 million to charity a year and they’ll say “he could give 20!!”.

Different strokes for different folks . Theres a thousand ways to skin a cat.

Everyone has their opinions about what is right or wrong and everyone wants to claim they know the absolute TRUTH. Fact is everyone in this thread, including me, is half right and half wrong.

Your post is nothing but OPINION, as is mine. I hope you and the Aussie have a good day or night whenever you read this. Cheers!

Or that he’s doing it for his image. Or his ego. Or whatever else

By contrast, look at how Nesmith has mentored Jarace Walker, telling him to "stay ready" even if, as in his early years in Boston, he gets stink time assignments his first couple seasons.

A game after screwing the pooch and failing to box out against LeBron, who notches his 8th career game winner on ESPN, Walk is back in the trenches, guarding yard and securing victory against a desperate Kings and highly motivated Sabonis. That is player dev.

Continued in the appropriate thread...

Agree, this year's draft class was so stacked, the Lakers really missed out with that 55th pick.

No one says a word about Giannis's brother who is/was absolutely terrible. But it's Lebron so: HE'S THE WORST!!!!

This post and topic seems to be rooted in bad faith and stubbornness. If you have an opinion and don’t plan to be open to others opinions, don’t create a post. At the end of the day, LeBron and SAS are living their best lives and could care less about what any of us misinformed people have to say.
