Hard to believe I'm saying this, but it sounds like Fanatics didn't FOMO this hard enough. They could have gone EQL for 500 hunnert a pop if I'm hearing all the rumors correctly.

Actually, I hear rumors that there's only one hobby box of this produced and it will be auctioned off directly by Topps.

Kinda like that Wu Tang Clan record a few years back that had only one copy and the Pharma Bro got it.

Just a breaker's delight full of superfractors or something like that.

Crazy times we live in. I am not opening any of this, and I didn't buy any sealed to hold. But I am going to enjoy watching this product unfold for the first month or so. I will be picking up Real One autographs of my Bravos though. Hopefully they have some nice ones.

The more recent pricing is a better comp, but because fanatics has expanded their market along with possibly limiting this release, and also considering the rookie class, you can see why prices jumped.

That said, if people not used to Heritage are buying this, at current pricing there are going to be a bunch of confused butthurt people.

I thought there was an unwritten rule on these boards that no data from any year Radio Shack was in business is relevant in 2025. And that receipt was from FOUR YEARS before they declared bankruptcy. Sears was also a thing. He just barely beat the buzzer on Blockbuster. They went out in 2010. Seems like the entire world has changed a bit since then. Also, as another fun fact, Vladimir Putin was not the leader of Russia. At least not officially.

Because they are not preselling it, it doesn't mean that they aren't getting it. They are waiting and hoping that they can jack up the price release day or shortly after......

But when you can only buy something in quantity from 3-4 places in the country the price will be super high …

Your options are topps blowout Dave adams or group break

Fanatics is smart. This way no one can mess with the price but them

Triple threads is 799. …. 5 years ago it was 180
And are beloved heritage will be pushing 200 dollars .. 5 years ago it was 70

They are trying to normalize these prices. And they are succeeding

Haha, some members are out of touch with reality.

We've already encountered another one (see below). At least Kyle uses a "reasonable" 5-year timeframe.

Its not the price its the ROI. It can be $1000 a box if the singles value was there. People are going to get murdered at $200 a box. This is a $100 a box value at best thats costing double that.

I'll wait until release. Pre-sell prices make no sense only because Fanatics is artificially holding back supply. Once it hits the market it'll normalize. Whether that's at $100 or $200 or whatever, it'll normalize.

For me it's simple. Instead of my usual case, I will just wait and pick up a set on the secondary market for cheap, buy my usual one single sealed box to keep, and be done with it.

The only thing I haven't decided is if I am going to bother with the mini high number set but we'll see.

True.

But with Bitcoin above $80K, and the stock market within 10% of all-time highs, there are A LOT of people out there who are so rich that they literally couldn't care less about ROI (the US alone has 22,000,000 millionaires!). They've got money to burn.....the difference between a case of Heritage being $1000 and being $2000 means nothing to them....it's just a nice bottle of alcohol, or a rounding error on their day-trading account.

Of course if the economy crashes, Bitcoin drops back to 30K, and the stock market crashes by 50%, they'll wish they had that money back, but that's neither here nor there.

The ROI won't scare people away. Baseball has had it good over the years. But we can see in the Basketball and Football markets that people will drop that $1k for $200 worth of cards all day long.

On a random, but related topic. I can't wait to see the NFL and NBA debut patches show up. Can you imagine what the football product with those rookie debut patches are going to go for? You may boxes hit levels never seen before. We may see $5k boxes returning $200.

I have a feeling 2025 heritage will be priced similar to 2024 heritage high. They'll add something to it so FOMO will go wild. Personally for me, paying $100 per new heritage release is the max I'll pay. $150-$200 for some minis, maybe 1 # card, and most of the time a napkin relic is ridiculous. Obviously people will pay for this but I won't. I'll just stick to singles.

I wouldn’t spend that much either, but just for detail sake it looks like 5 numbered chrome per box.

5 numbered per box plus the minis are in here. This isn't your typical Heritage High to be fair. Let's not forget a very popular design. The comps people are using aren't even close.

Nobody builds red/green/blue/purple refractor sets....
