I think it was fair, voting wasn’t close. I think Gianni’s had more of an argument than jokic. 31/12/6 1st team all nba, 6th dpoy, best record in the league.

I don’t have a pony in this race but I think it’s closer than you think. SGA has it all over Joker on defense, no denying it. But the on/off court numbers for Joker are ridiculous. Denver would be a lottery team without him.

I don't think my voiced statements on a kard forum does much to sway the will of the professional voters either way. Smart money (my money included) should never operate on personal bias or homerisms, but rather factual data and who you actually believe will win...not what your heart says.

Currently Shay Shay is averaging out as a 7 to 1 fave. Essentially the same odds as an OKC pregame ML vs. the Wizards. If you think that's 'close,' then more power to you. If I had ANY remote inkling that this was a close race, I'd have already placed at least 10k down on big serb for a potential 5:1 back on my money. Why wouldn't I, and why shouldn't you? Life on EZ mode should never be a bad thing.

Speaking of which, I don't believe getting swept in the season series vs. the league's cucking bag bolsters Yoker's argument any.

Defense is not a heavily weighted category in MVP voting, but it's certainly a point of consideration especially if arguing similar offensive prowess. And it automatically factors its way into weighted statistical categories such as +/- (for which SGA is leading and crushing the field) and net rating (also which SGA leads).

SGA's regular season both offensively and defensively is trending amongst MJ's peak years.

See ya'll when he hoists the trophy in April. Will be fun to revisit the 'robbery' excuses then.

lebron also won 4 mvps in 5 years

would've been 5 in a row if it weren't for that one rose mvp

Again, I don’t have a pony in this race. I’m simply saying it’s a closer race than you make it out to be.

I don’t think they’ll be any need for “excuses” unless SGA loses.

I guess I’m one of the few on here who think that SGA will win but wouldn’t be surprised if it’s Joker.

I know it’s the internet, but it really IS ok to think both are having great years. I know, I know, that’s not click-baity enough.

I think you have me confused for superfan Daeve, who pretty much discredits anything SGA related and insists it must be a 'DEI' initiative.

I've reiterated several times that Joker's having a tremendous year. He's still the best player in the game. But best player =/ player having the best season.

No excuses from me either way. I think the current odds speak for itself, but people can create their own alternate reality if need be. Embum was a -300 when he won. Shai is currently more than double that.

But ok.

Don't bother, SGA is clearly 10x the player Jokic is. The betting odds say so.

Just don't ask him how much he bet, he'll play stupid and act like he doesn't know what you're asking him

I have 15k on the line, if that pleases the resident pocket watchers. That's only a 5 unit bet, so it's not going to alter my life significantly either way. And these have been layered in since New Years, so I have pretty favorable odds.

But hey. If it's so close, why don't you guys put some chips in? Or does thy faith waiver?

A great sigh of relief. On this glorious eve, Yokic maximalists can finally stop living the 4 month lie and gain the closure they truly deserve.

Though coming on the heels of watching the Midrange Merchant inch closer to hoisting the O' Brien, I fully understand and empathize with your position.

Chin up. It gets better.

Finally... After all these year....

You and I find some common ground on something.

(Also, I'm Arnold, because he makes it and Carl Weathers character doesn't.
But I digress)

Hey now. We were always eye-to-eye on Lululemon. Defensive black holes have a way of unifying all walks of life.

(Weathers would only be logical and an honor, as I represent the dark side of hood hobby politics. Bury me a G)

Wait a second....

SGA > Jokic '25
Lulu-burger
Mutual respect for Carl Weathers....

We may have more in common than once thought:

Wow, everyone had the same ballot. I can’t remember there being such a consensus one through five.

Denverites' 9/11:

Only 71 of a possible 100 first place votes. Indeed closer than most people thought.

Gurllll...pages 6 through 9 are must-read material.

Started my degen wager layering circa new years. Never a doubt.

At the end of the day, Eurocentric dominance will continue and all ethno-bodytypes embraced.

The league is in a good place.
