Been a hot minute. Been asleep. Free Agency huh? We had a lot of cap I'm sure we signed 1-2 big name players right?........right?

Obviously great HC and I have no issues with the GM either. I'm just not sure why we haven't signed at least ONE big player, obviously you need to build your team in the Draft, however 1-2 big names could have been signed with the space we have. Unless they plan to extend current guys this offseason and use next year for the big FA signings? Get one more year of picks under their belt?

Their current roster will go nowhere. They need help.

It is a bit odd. They have plenty of cap space and have already given the qb the big contract. They need a rb and some weapons for the qb but I guess you can draft those. Defense would be my main concern.

They re-signed Khalil Mack.
He's not the totally dominant DPOY he was a decade ago, but he's still a Pro Bowler who can wreck games.
They have some good young defense for Harbaugh to scheme with, but he AFC is tough.

...I'd say RB will be an early rounds pick in the Chargers' draft. No doubt.
Harbaugh teams are always running and defense and grindy wins.
Najee is a fine gap fill, but he's neither young or great (hence 1yr deal).
The FA vet RBs from last year didn't pan out (Dobbins, Gus bus, UMich own Haskins).
Maybe coach makes Najee into Adrian Peterson, but I sure AF doubt it. They need better at RB.

It's just such an important position to nearly all past Harbaugh teams.
I'm still mind blown he didn't draft Blake Corum 2024 (took UMich LB instead).

For what they paid Dobbins they got a decent return. Think the whole world knew he couldn’t make it 17 games. I mean his signing bonus was $50k. Think almost any rb could flourish in their system.

Rashawn Slater carted off the field today just over a week after signing a monster contract extension.

Chargers gonna charger.

Ruptured patellar tendon - done for the year.

The chargers are cursed.

Poor guy. Well, not that poor, at least most of his contract is guaranteed.

Good thing he signed that contract. Probably better for him, now he can sit at home and still get paid. No more CTE and he's set for generations.

*just* $27MM guaranteed for Slater.

Chargers can cut him after next year and save an average of $30MM in cap hits over the last 3 years of the deal

Hate to say it but there goes the Oline for the year. luckily Alt can slide in, but that leaves no hope for the right side. Run game will be tough to get going and herbert will have pressure relentlessly.

But, you actually need a few seconds to throw the ball.

The chargers oline is like a slice of Swiss cheese.

Rams just beat the Chargers 23-22 with a thrilling 2 minute drive that saw two 4th down conversions. Both teams are well coached, there was just one turnover and very few penalties. Chargers got a late punt return TD. Stetson Bennett was teriffic except for on one drive where he almost threw one pick, then did throw one. Herbert started, plus Heinicke and Lance played, too.

Hopefully, this was a Super Bowl preview.

Of course Herbie got sacked in a preseason game!

Time to dust off this ol' horse.

Herbert sucks.

Glad to have Slay back, just feels right with him being in the Bolts uniform.

Sure will, Keenan with the experience and history with Herbs, Ladd with that quick speed and shiftiness, not to mention QJ (hands issues considered), to hopefully get some more favorable matchups and get him some touches in space. Offense is much more improved over last year.

Get that run game going, watch out.

Didn't stay up for Monday night game, 10 PM where I am, 3:30 work wakeup, I'll pass on a week two game.

Watched highlights, is it wrong to say the Bolts D held when it mattered by Vegas was able to actually move the ball pretty well? Again, only saw highlights so it could obviously give a pretty skewed look.

Also, Daiyan "Agent 0" Henley is a monster.

Said this before, but Derwin is easily one of my top 3 favorite Bolts of all time. Him and Gates, absolute studs.

Defense gave Geno fits all night the pass rush was OK but the secondary had it locked down most of the night.
Excited for the first home game this week, can't be 3-0 unless your 2-0
Like coach says

Karate yes.

Karate no.

And yes THE RANGER is a bad ass.

Big fan of Derwin too. His smile is contagious.

So glad Keenan is back. Go Bolts!

Saved the season with that one. Good to see the OL & other backups do enough to get it done on the road. Big game this week, hopefully we start getting some of the guys back for it.

Congrats to Keenan becoming the only player in history to have 400 catches from 2 different QBs and to becoming the fastest player to 1,000 catches.

Bolt Up!!

Big game Sunday night at home. Hope Vidal has a break out game. Maybe Herbert will out rush all the running backs again
