Most likely none of the above (Garland included), if they were going to get bumped up you would've already seen movement in one of them

They're a team greater than the sum of their parts in the vein of Boston but no one player among them is good enough to really see hobby appreciation (yet)

Mitchell is the closest but his ceiling has been realized at this point and he's basically at perennial all-star, which is real life good but not really hobby good

Mobley, he will be touted as the next young guy. But will be shortlived as the hobby hates big man

Mobley's a defensive guy as well. Fair or not that's the way it is. Garland could get a small bump, but other than that the Cavs are not going to get a real crazy hobby bump.

For some reason it feels like most people still think the Celtics are still the favorite in the East. Felt like the hot start the Cavs got people still believed it was a fluke. It clearly wasn't. I wouldn't be shocked if Boston won in a conference finals against them, but honestly I wouldn't pick the Celtics right now. This isn't the same team that Boston eliminated last year.

They honestly had a sub-par game in Milwaukee and that game wasn't close. Weather the Bucks played against Orlando Saturday or not, they still lose that game. Yeah Giannis is the best player on the court, but they don't win that game anyway. The Cavs have a winning mentality right now and they want home court in a potential finals matchup.

They'd all get somewhat of a bump, considering where their prices are now.

That's not saying that any of them would be hobby elite, just that they would all gain cred when you added a championship to:

6 All stars and a high career playoff scoring mark
1 DPOY, 1 All star and being the top metric guy at a very young age on a champ team
2 All stars and a handle game that plays well in today's X/TikTok generation (along with a very amount of rookie cards)

Honestly, unless something unforeseen happens, Mitchell gets the biggest bump immediately. 24 points on 19 shots seem to draw more eyeballs than 19 points on 13 shots. But Mobley would be the guy who gets the most buzz moving forward.

The thing to remember is that this team doesn't sniff a championship unless all 3 of these guys (as well as Allen, Hunter, and Jerome) play well. There's no real superstar who can just put up an efficient near triple double for an entire series. Atkinson's coaching style is team ball where they all contribute.

Now if the Pacers do something they will get a bump, because of the perceived underdog status. Rockets too. Atlanta, Memphis.

None of those East teams you named will do anything more than they've already none. Atlanta is 30-34 for chrissakes

If Pacers finish strong and do something I could see Rese getting a bump

Atlanta doesn't seem to be going anywhere

Memphis, Ja is the one who benefits from success there

Rockets is tough, obviously I'm biased with Amen but he has gone up the most recently and the hobby never really seemed to take to Jalen Green (past a certain point) or Sengun so maybe he would be the one

With LeBron's injury, the race in the West got really interesting.

Denver should get the 2nd seed by default. Houston can catch the Lakers but it's not like they've been rolling. Memphis has been underperforming, if anything they should be worry about falling.

Meanwhile, the Warriors and the Wolves have been playing better and have easier schedules. 3 game difference when there are 18-20 games left is not that much.

LeBron is supposed to miss 1-2 weeks. Schedule between now and then:

Week 1
Nets
Bucks
Nuggets
Suns

Week 2
Spurs
Nuggets
Bucks
Bulls

8 games to see what Luka's got leading the team. 3 of those should be cake walks or the Lakers have big problems. They should be able to figure out how to win another 1-2 of those games or else Luka isn't the guy we think he is. So that's 4 or 5 wins that I would expect out of this if LeBron misses the full 2 weeks.

It's in 12 days though, with Rui also out and Hayes/DFS questionable. If they go 4-4, they should be happy with that.

This Chicago-Pacers game is painful to watch. Its like 22-23, when they played keep away from Nesmith, forgot to pass around, and just ran into traffic, and the results show.

I say, with Haliburton gone forget this Nembhard stuff, just put Double A in control at point.

And they just lost what looked like the second most winnable game of that stretch. Houston winning comfortably, they should be 1 game behind them by the end of the night.

It doesn't help when your two 'best' players combine to shoot well south of 30 percent from the field. Fakers better pray to the honorable Elijah Muhammad that Fossil returns sooner than later.

Alpaca is such a bum. I don't know how Denver figures to ever win a championship with him.

Nice bounceback win for Den. They shot the lights out.

High level ball being played in OKC tonight. Minus the defense, of course.

I think OKC needs Chet to round into form to have a real shot at a championship this year.

The fact Phoenix can't even catch the Shenzhen Mavs for the final play-in spot sends me.

Oomph, what was that Lakers squad. The starting team (minus Luka) isn't even a great bench squad.

I actually thought before the game they should rest Luka, seemed an L all day. Missing too many guys. Did well to be in that game to be fair.

Den vs OKC was fun. We got told Jokic drags a bunch of scrubs around though? Just Lol.

Very good lottery chances at this point unless Dallas decides to intentionally shelf AD for the rest of the year (looking like this won't be the case).

Devin Carter makes Trae's follicle game look like Zac Efron.

They have a brutal stretch coming up. This was one of the "easiest" games, they still had the only current All-Star/All-NBA and 2 of the 3 best players in the game on paper. They played a team with 4 guys on a minimum/two-way contract.

Ooh. Saying the squad around him is why the Lakers loss is not an excuse for Luka, but would somehow be an excuse for LeBron? Be a totally different tone if it were reversed. How on brand.
