Just in, this one took me a longgggggggg time to find a non-print-line-afflicted copy. It didn't help that the seldom clean copies I've seen were wildly overpriced. I would've probably missed it too if it weren't for a fellow Penny collector on IG.

Better shot of the bmoc. I always liked these better than the originals, including the z-peat versions.

Abra linked this over on the hobbyboards forum. Is Donny boy literally making up his own name for the set, or did UD call them that at one point. Either way, hilarious.

Finally, the series 2 Rave. A while ago I made a post on ig asking if anyone had a copy and nothing came from it. Then randomly a couple weeks ago, someone reached out to me.

That's classic. I love these videos... Time machine. I've never heard the set called that either

Nice Rave!

I had to pay $15-$20 for a Smits Rave, so Penny must have cost a pretty penny, pun intended.

If I find any Rave for around $15, I will buy them. They are slowly disappearing into collections and I think many people are trying to make the set.

5 years ago I bought the series 1 for about $125. The series 2 pops up less frequently, but I just kept missing out on them when they did. I don’t stay on top of ebay searches as much as I used to, partly because I’ve had just as much success on fb and ig.

Happy to finally pair them, now I’m done with all his Z-Force inserts and parallels. (Let’s not count the Super Rave)

That gold star attractions is so pretty. The texturing on it is really nice.

Beautiful!! And don’t let anyone give you static for the screw down. That’s the most appropriate case for that card in my opinion.

Wow this looks awesome! Does it feel/look like chrome refractor?

Thanks Vinny. I feel the same way. The only thing now is that I’m wondering if I should open it anyway to ensure it’s ok.

Do you guys think EBay authenticity already opened it? Either way, taking it out is probably the smart thing to do. Even if it’s fine now, the stock may separate in the holder in the future.

Thanks man, I’m really happy it’s so clean. It doesn’t look like it in the photo, but the serial is as bold as the auto.

Yea, it’s weird seeing a UD chromium card, but it’s def sweet looking. Thinking of all the Topps patents on that stuff I wonder if they got away with it because it was oversized a bit.

Thank you. When did you sell the pro motion? That’s something not technically on my list just because it’s so expensive.

It's been a minute. Probably 2017 or so. It's my only real regret simply because I pulled the redemption myself when I was 7.

I figured you'd appreciate this pickup. It's been a while since I've added a Penny to my PC, but this is one I've wanted forever

For sure. I pulled a Kobe 97 Finest silver embossed refractor from the same shop a few days later
